I have tried several products from Meguiar's and I can say that their products are quite good (some even very good). However, this particular one for use with a clay bar that I bought is unnecessarily expensive. Be careful, it does lubricate the surface so that the clay does not damage the paint, but you can achieve the exact same result with soapy water.
After all, when you use clay, you know that any coating (synthetic/wax, etc.) you have on will come off and you will need to go over it again after using the clay. If you have a new car or you are very particular and absolutely do not want soap to come into contact with the surface of the car (First of all, I will say that it is a huge exaggeration; the car outside comes into contact with incomprehensibly stronger pollutants), you can find alternatives similar to this one from Meguiar's that lubricate the surface of the car for much less money.
It is good to love and respect a company, but it is better not to be stuck and always look out for our own interests, both financially and in searching for the best possible product, and at this point, Meguiar's does neither.
Εχω δοκιμάσει αρκετά προιόντα της Meguiar's και μπορώ να πω οτι τα προιόντα της είναι αρκετά καλά (κάποια και πολύ καλά). Το συγκεκριμένο όμως για χρήση με clay bar που το πήρα είναι αχρείαστα ακριβό. Προσοχή δεν είναι οτι δεν λιπαίνει την επιφάνεια για να μην κάνει ζημιά ο πηλός στο βερνίκι αλλά και με το σαπουνόνερο την ίδια ακριβώς δουλειά θα κάνετε.
Άλλωστε όταν βάζεις πηλό ξέρεις οτι οποιαδήποτε επίστρωση(συνθετική/κερί κοκ) έχεις πάνω θα βγεί και θέλει πάλι πέρασμα μετά τον πηλό . Αν έχεις καινούργιο αμάξι ή είσαι ψείρας και δεν θες με τίποτα να μπει σαπούνι στην επιφάνεια του αυτοκινήτου(Καταρχάς θα πω οτι είναι τεράστια υπερβολή το αμάξι έξω έρχεται σε επαφή με αδιανόητα πιο ισχυρούς ρύπους) μπορείς να βρεις και εναλλακτικές παρόμοιες μ αυτό της Meguiar's που λιπαίνουν την επιφάνεια του αυτοκινήτου με πολύ λιγότερα λεφτά.
Καλό είναι να αγαπάμε και να σεβόμαστε μια εταιρία αλλά καλύτερο είναι να μην είμαστε κολλημένοι και να κοιτάμε πάντα το συμφέρον μας τόσο οικονομικά οσο και να ψάχνουμε το καλύτερο δυνατό προίον και στην παρούσα φάση η Meguiar's δεν κάνει ούτε το ενα ούτε το άλλο.
