It removes stickers from jars "with ease", the goo left by adhesive tape, dried blue tack, and any mark from an old sticker. :-)

It can remove resin and tar, and not only that.

For resin and tar, its use is very simple. You wet it with a cloth and press it on what you want to remove. Depending on how long it has been heated, it may take from one minute to five. Once the resin or tar softens, you gently rub it with a clean cloth under medium pressure and after a while, it is clean.

Apart from tar and resin, it also removes ink, oil, gum, and adhesive residues, both from color and fabric. For use on fabric and plastics, it is good to test it in a small area because it can cause damage.

It succeeded in removing two-week-old resin. The larger pieces were removed with a spatula or base, and the residue came out quite easily following the instructions
