    The base takes half a day to assemble and install. It is quite heavy but sturdy. One of the clamps, in mine, was defective and I had to take it to the dealership to have it replaced. It requires a large rear bumper for support because that's where all the weight falls. I only recommend it to those who will use it extensively and almost never remove it from the car because it takes up a lot of space.
