I bought the card for 80 euros 2 years ago. I am a simple user and I have a new Dell monitor with a resolution of 2540x1440. It frequently flickers and I noticed this issue after removing the card and using the onboard graphics.
εχω παρει την καρτα σε τιμη 80 ευρω πριν 2 χρονια ειμαι εντελως απλος χρηστης και σε καινουργια οθονη dell με αναλυση 2540χ1440 κανει αναλαμπες συχνα ( νομιζω flickering θα λεγεται αγγλικα)και αυτο το προβλημα το επεσημανα αφου εβγαλα την καρτα και με την onboard δεν κανει αυτες τις αναλαμπες.
Quite a good card even in 2021. It's a joke at 350€. If you find it for 80-90€, get it. I've had it for a year with an i3 10100, 16GB RAM, and it can handle everything on graphics depending on how heavy a game is, you might have to lower something.

As for the technical analysis, others have already said it, the card is very good for mid-range games, especially if you want it for Fortnite, LOL, etc. It easily reaches 120fps.
It's quiet if you don't change the settings from the AMD software.
Personally, I have overclocked it from the software and it works flawlessly

Well, I got this card 2 years ago on a very average computer. At the moment, I can play some light games (e.g. lol at 100 fps and csgo). I do not recommend it for today's standards if you want to play heavy games like gta rp, where with this card I can only reach a maximum of 40 fps with my build.

As soon as the drivers were installed, the computer crashed. No matter how many updates I made to the sound card driver program, no matter how many tests I performed on the already installed Windows drivers, it remained problematic. Since I got it for World of Tanks, as soon as I opened it, the graphics resolution of the game automatically increased to the maximum of the SD server I had downloaded, as I had been playing on a laptop i5 2nd gen, onboard Intel 3000 graphic card, all on low settings and all effects disabled, with 10-20 fps.

With a cheap USB sound card for €1.50, the problem was solved, as it is only used for gaming and movies, with the use of headphones. With MSI Afterburner, I created a profile with the fan always at 100%, but I don't know if it actually starts immediately as the computer fans are constantly running and audible. In World of Tanks, with graphics set to maximum, after 8 hours of gameplay on Saturday, the temperature reached up to 56 degrees and the FPS ranged from 29 to 49, so I am completely satisfied. Time will tell about its lifespan. The asterisk is for the lost sound, which seems to be coming from the DVI-D port now and required a USB sound card, even a cheap one.

For some time now, after downloading the latest AMD drivers, the card started giving me a message that it couldn't find OpenGL and wouldn't open the application. I read somewhere that this specific issue occurs when running drivers released after 2017. For now, I installed the latest driver from 2017 (2017,1005,1719,29341) and for the time being, the application opens and I can play with the settings. However, I will also try some newer ones and will update.

I downloaded the latest driver from the AMD website and for now, it's working. This way, I can see clock and memory speeds, the memory being used at that moment, the percentage of card and processor usage. However, I still need to open MSI Afterburner to check the card temperature.

After a year and 4 months, the card is still working fine. Last summer, the highest temperature I saw was around 72 degrees, but the house has single-brick walls, no insulation, and only one fan for cooling, so it remains relatively cool for its standards. In Afterburner, I have set the memory timing to 1600MHz, the clock to 1850MHz, and the fan permanently at 100%. For the price I paid, it's perfect, but for what it's currently doing, I don't think I would have bought it due to a limited budget.

YES, ladies and gentlemen, the card is still alive, although now it is not used for gaming, just to provide display to the main screen of the PC and for movies. Eventually, Afterburner was abandoned as it started causing problems (PC freezes) and not accepting changes to the card setup. It was replaced with AMD Adrenaline, which has been stable so far.

με το που εγκαταστάθηκαν οι drivers μουγκάθηκε ο υπολογιστής. όσες ενημερώσεις και αν έκανα στο πρόγραμμα οδήγησης της κάρτας ήχου, όσες δοκιμές στους ήδη εγκατεστημένους drivers των windows κι αν δοκίμασα, παρέμεινε μουγκός. επειδή την πήρα για το world of tanks, με το που το άνοιξα, η ανάλυση των γραφικών του παιχνιδιού ανέβηκε αυτόματα στο μέγιστο του sd server που είχα κατεβάσει, αφού ως τώρα έπαιζα σε laptop i5 2nd gen, onboard intel 3000 grahic card, όλα στο low και όλα τα εφέ απενεργοποιημένα, με 10-20 fps.

με μια καρτούλα ήχου usb του 1,50€ το πρόβλημα λύθηκε, αφού μόνο για παιχνίδι και ταινίες χρησιμοποιείται, με χρήση ακουστικών. με το msi afterburner έκανα προφίλ με ανεμιστήρα πάντα στο 100%, αλλά δεν ξέρω αν όντως παίρνει μπροστά αμέσως αφού οι ανεμιστήρες του η/υ δουλεύουν συνέχεια και ακούγονται). στο world of tanks, με τα γραφικά στο μέγιστο, μετά από 8 ώρες παιχνίδι το Σάββατο, η θερμοκρασία βγήκε ως τους 56 βαθμούς και fps από 29 ως 49, οπότε είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος. ο χρόνος θα δείξει για τη διάρκεια ζωής. το κομμένο αστεράκι είναι για το χαμένο ήχο, που μάλλον βγαίνει τώρα από την dvi-d θύρα και χρειάστηκε κάρτα ήχου usb, έστω και της πλάκας.

εδώ και λίγον καιρό, μετά που κατέβασα τους τελευταίους drivers της amd, η κάρτα άρχισε να μου βγάζει μήνυμα γιατί δεν έβρισκε το openGLκαι δεν άνοιγε την εφαρμογή. κάπου διάβασα ότι η συγκεκριμένη κολλά όταν τρέξει driversπου βγήκαν μετά το 2017.προς το παρόν εγκατέστησα τον τελευταίο driver του 2017 (2017,1005,1719,29341) και για την ώρα η εφαρμογή ανοίγει και μπορώ να παίξω με τις ρυθμίσεις. θα δοκιμάσω όμως και κάποιους νεώτερους και θα επανέλθω.

κατέβασα τον τελευταίο driver από την ιστοσελίδα της AMD και προς το παρόν δουλεύει. έτσι μπορώ να βλέπω ταχύτητες ρολογιού και μνήμης, τη μνήμη που χρησιμοποιείται εκείνη τη στιγμή, ποσοστό % χρήσης κάρτας και επεξεργαστή. για τη θερμοκρασία της κάρτας όμως πρέπει να ανοίξω και το msi afterburner.

μετά από ένα χρόνο και 4 μήνες, η κάρτα δουλεύει ρολόι. το περασμένο καλοκαίρι η ανώτερη θερμοκρασία που είδα ήταν γύρω στους 72 βαθμούς, αλλά το σπίτι έχει τοίχους από μονό τούβλο, καμμία θερμομόνωση και μόνο ένα ανεμιστήρα για δροσιά, οπότε μένει σχετικά κρύα για τα δεδομένα της. στο afterburner έχω ρυθμίσει το χρονισμό μνήμης στα 1600ΜΗΖ, το ρολόι στα 1850ΜΗΖ και τον ανεμιστήρα μόνιμα στο 100%. για τα λεφτά που έκανε, είναι τέλεια, για αυτά που κάνει τώρα, δε νομίζω να την αγόραζα, λόγω περιορισμένου budget.

και ΝΑΙ, κυρίες και κύριοι, η κάρτα ακόμα ζει, αν και τώρα δεν χρησιμοποιείται για παιχνίδια, απλά για να δώσει εικόνα στη βασική οθόνη του η/υ, και για ταινίες.
τελικά το afterburner εγκαταλείφθηκε, αφού άρχισε να δημιουργεί προβλήματα (κολλήμματα του η/υ) και να μην δέχεται αλλαγές στο setup των καρτών. στη θέση του εγκαταστάθηκε το amd adrenaline που μέχρι στιγμής είναι σταθερό.

Well, the rx 550 is one of the most value-for-money graphics cards at 100-120 euros now, I tried it 8 months ago at 150 euros and I use it for editing and playing various games.
For games up to 2014, you can comfortably play them at 60 fps (if you have a good processor, of course).
From 2015 onwards, it depends on the game, for example, it can't handle Arkham Knight at 60 fps, but Fortnite can reach up to 200 fps on low settings.
For video or image editing, it works fine, it doesn't lag.
As for the temperature, it is usually normal, but recently I was playing a game from 2018 (Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and it went up quite a bit (80 to 85 degrees).
That's it for the card, if you want to get one for 100 euros, you can either get this one or get one from abroad like the gtx 960, which is slightly better and has the same price.
Λοιπόν η rx 550 είναι μια από τις πιο vfm κάρτες γραφικών στα 100-120 ευρώ τώρα, εγώ την πείρα πριν 8 μήνες στα 150 ευρώ και κάνω με αυτήν edit και παίζω και διάφορα games.
Για παιχνίδια μέχρι και του 2014 τα παίζεις άνετα με 60 fps(αν έχεις και καλό επεξεργαστή βέβαια).
Από το 15 και μετά είναι ανάλογα το παιχνίδι δλδ το arkam Knight δε το σηκώνει με 60 fps με τίποτα ενώ το fortnite σε όλα low ανεβαίνει έως και 200.
Για editing βίντεο ή εικόνα μια χαρά, δε κολλάει.
Όσο αφορά την θερμοκρασία ειναι συνήθως κανονική αλλά πρόσφατα έπαιζα ένα παιχνίδι του 18(shadow of the tomb raider) και ανέβηκε αρκετά (80 με 85 βαθμούς)
Αυτα για την κάρτα, αν θες να πάρεις μια με 100 ευρώ είσαι εδώ η πάρε μια από εξωτερικό όπως gtx 960 με ίδια τιμή που είναι και λίγο καλύτερη.

It will play everything decently even in ultra graphics, but don't expect more than 35 stable fps in demanding games at maximum graphics (I have played WRC 7, Battlefield 1, and COD WWII so far). Fps drops quite a bit in crazy conditions. However, it will play very smoothly without any lag on medium settings. There is no chaotic difference between ultra and medium. Temperature stays steady at 60-65 degrees and after hours of gameplay with the fan set at 70% so it doesn't sound crazy.
θα παιξει τα παντα αξιοπρεπως ακομη και στα ultra γραφικα αλλα μην περιμενετε πανω απο 35 σταθερα fps σε απαιτητηκα παιχνιδια στα maximum γραφικα(εχω παιξει μεχρι στιγμης wrc 7, battlefield 1 kai cod wwii) . τα fps σε συνθηκες τρελας πεφτουν αρκετα. στα medium ομως θα παιξει πολυ ομαλα χωρις κολληματα. νταξει δεν υπαρχει κ καμια χαοτικη διαφορα αναμεσα σε ultra και medium. απο θερμοκρασιες σταθερα 60-65 κ μετα απο πολυωρη χρηση παιχνιδιου με το ανεμιστηρακι ρυθμισμενο στο 70% ωστε να μην ακουγεται σαν παλαβο.

Quite a good card even in 2021. It's a joke at 350€. If you find it for 80-90€, get it. I've had it for a year with an i3 10100, 16GB RAM, and it can handle everything on graphics depending on how heavy a game is, you might have to lower something.

As for the technical analysis, others have already said it, the card is very good for mid-range games, especially if you want it for Fortnite, LOL, etc. It easily reaches 120fps.
It's quiet if you don't change the settings from the AMD software.
Personally, I have overclocked it from the software and it works flawlessly

Well, I got this card 2 years ago on a very average computer. At the moment, I can play some light games (e.g. lol at 100 fps and csgo). I do not recommend it for today's standards if you want to play heavy games like gta rp, where with this card I can only reach a maximum of 40 fps with my build.

As soon as the drivers were installed, the computer crashed. No matter how many updates I made to the sound card driver program, no matter how many tests I performed on the already installed Windows drivers, it remained problematic. Since I got it for World of Tanks, as soon as I opened it, the graphics resolution of the game automatically increased to the maximum of the SD server I had downloaded, as I had been playing on a laptop i5 2nd gen, onboard Intel 3000 graphic card, all on low settings and all effects disabled, with 10-20 fps.

With a cheap USB sound card for €1.50, the problem was solved, as it is only used for gaming and movies, with the use of headphones. With MSI Afterburner, I created a profile with the fan always at 100%, but I don't know if it actually starts immediately as the computer fans are constantly running and audible. In World of Tanks, with graphics set to maximum, after 8 hours of gameplay on Saturday, the temperature reached up to 56 degrees and the FPS ranged from 29 to 49, so I am completely satisfied. Time will tell about its lifespan. The asterisk is for the lost sound, which seems to be coming from the DVI-D port now and required a USB sound card, even a cheap one.

For some time now, after downloading the latest AMD drivers, the card started giving me a message that it couldn't find OpenGL and wouldn't open the application. I read somewhere that this specific issue occurs when running drivers released after 2017. For now, I installed the latest driver from 2017 (2017,1005,1719,29341) and for the time being, the application opens and I can play with the settings. However, I will also try some newer ones and will update.

I downloaded the latest driver from the AMD website and for now, it's working. This way, I can see clock and memory speeds, the memory being used at that moment, the percentage of card and processor usage. However, I still need to open MSI Afterburner to check the card temperature.

After a year and 4 months, the card is still working fine. Last summer, the highest temperature I saw was around 72 degrees, but the house has single-brick walls, no insulation, and only one fan for cooling, so it remains relatively cool for its standards. In Afterburner, I have set the memory timing to 1600MHz, the clock to 1850MHz, and the fan permanently at 100%. For the price I paid, it's perfect, but for what it's currently doing, I don't think I would have bought it due to a limited budget.

YES, ladies and gentlemen, the card is still alive, although now it is not used for gaming, just to provide display to the main screen of the PC and for movies. Eventually, Afterburner was abandoned as it started causing problems (PC freezes) and not accepting changes to the card setup. It was replaced with AMD Adrenaline, which has been stable so far.

με το που εγκαταστάθηκαν οι drivers μουγκάθηκε ο υπολογιστής. όσες ενημερώσεις και αν έκανα στο πρόγραμμα οδήγησης της κάρτας ήχου, όσες δοκιμές στους ήδη εγκατεστημένους drivers των windows κι αν δοκίμασα, παρέμεινε μουγκός. επειδή την πήρα για το world of tanks, με το που το άνοιξα, η ανάλυση των γραφικών του παιχνιδιού ανέβηκε αυτόματα στο μέγιστο του sd server που είχα κατεβάσει, αφού ως τώρα έπαιζα σε laptop i5 2nd gen, onboard intel 3000 grahic card, όλα στο low και όλα τα εφέ απενεργοποιημένα, με 10-20 fps.

με μια καρτούλα ήχου usb του 1,50€ το πρόβλημα λύθηκε, αφού μόνο για παιχνίδι και ταινίες χρησιμοποιείται, με χρήση ακουστικών. με το msi afterburner έκανα προφίλ με ανεμιστήρα πάντα στο 100%, αλλά δεν ξέρω αν όντως παίρνει μπροστά αμέσως αφού οι ανεμιστήρες του η/υ δουλεύουν συνέχεια και ακούγονται). στο world of tanks, με τα γραφικά στο μέγιστο, μετά από 8 ώρες παιχνίδι το Σάββατο, η θερμοκρασία βγήκε ως τους 56 βαθμούς και fps από 29 ως 49, οπότε είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένος. ο χρόνος θα δείξει για τη διάρκεια ζωής. το κομμένο αστεράκι είναι για το χαμένο ήχο, που μάλλον βγαίνει τώρα από την dvi-d θύρα και χρειάστηκε κάρτα ήχου usb, έστω και της πλάκας.

εδώ και λίγον καιρό, μετά που κατέβασα τους τελευταίους drivers της amd, η κάρτα άρχισε να μου βγάζει μήνυμα γιατί δεν έβρισκε το openGLκαι δεν άνοιγε την εφαρμογή. κάπου διάβασα ότι η συγκεκριμένη κολλά όταν τρέξει driversπου βγήκαν μετά το 2017.προς το παρόν εγκατέστησα τον τελευταίο driver του 2017 (2017,1005,1719,29341) και για την ώρα η εφαρμογή ανοίγει και μπορώ να παίξω με τις ρυθμίσεις. θα δοκιμάσω όμως και κάποιους νεώτερους και θα επανέλθω.

κατέβασα τον τελευταίο driver από την ιστοσελίδα της AMD και προς το παρόν δουλεύει. έτσι μπορώ να βλέπω ταχύτητες ρολογιού και μνήμης, τη μνήμη που χρησιμοποιείται εκείνη τη στιγμή, ποσοστό % χρήσης κάρτας και επεξεργαστή. για τη θερμοκρασία της κάρτας όμως πρέπει να ανοίξω και το msi afterburner.

μετά από ένα χρόνο και 4 μήνες, η κάρτα δουλεύει ρολόι. το περασμένο καλοκαίρι η ανώτερη θερμοκρασία που είδα ήταν γύρω στους 72 βαθμούς, αλλά το σπίτι έχει τοίχους από μονό τούβλο, καμμία θερμομόνωση και μόνο ένα ανεμιστήρα για δροσιά, οπότε μένει σχετικά κρύα για τα δεδομένα της. στο afterburner έχω ρυθμίσει το χρονισμό μνήμης στα 1600ΜΗΖ, το ρολόι στα 1850ΜΗΖ και τον ανεμιστήρα μόνιμα στο 100%. για τα λεφτά που έκανε, είναι τέλεια, για αυτά που κάνει τώρα, δε νομίζω να την αγόραζα, λόγω περιορισμένου budget.

και ΝΑΙ, κυρίες και κύριοι, η κάρτα ακόμα ζει, αν και τώρα δεν χρησιμοποιείται για παιχνίδια, απλά για να δώσει εικόνα στη βασική οθόνη του η/υ, και για ταινίες.
τελικά το afterburner εγκαταλείφθηκε, αφού άρχισε να δημιουργεί προβλήματα (κολλήμματα του η/υ) και να μην δέχεται αλλαγές στο setup των καρτών. στη θέση του εγκαταστάθηκε το amd adrenaline που μέχρι στιγμής είναι σταθερό.

Well, the rx 550 is one of the most value-for-money graphics cards at 100-120 euros now, I tried it 8 months ago at 150 euros and I use it for editing and playing various games.
For games up to 2014, you can comfortably play them at 60 fps (if you have a good processor, of course).
From 2015 onwards, it depends on the game, for example, it can't handle Arkham Knight at 60 fps, but Fortnite can reach up to 200 fps on low settings.
For video or image editing, it works fine, it doesn't lag.
As for the temperature, it is usually normal, but recently I was playing a game from 2018 (Shadow of the Tomb Raider) and it went up quite a bit (80 to 85 degrees).

Λοιπόν η rx 550 είναι μια από τις πιο vfm κάρτες γραφικών στα 100-120 ευρώ τώρα, εγώ την πείρα πριν 8 μήνες στα 150 ευρώ και κάνω με αυτήν edit και παίζω και διάφορα games.
Για παιχνίδια μέχρι και του 2014 τα παίζεις άνετα με 60 fps(αν έχεις και καλό επεξεργαστή βέβαια).
Από το 15 και μετά είναι ανάλογα το παιχνίδι δλδ το arkam Knight δε το σηκώνει με 60 fps με τίποτα ενώ το fortnite σε όλα low ανεβαίνει έως και 200.
Για editing βίντεο ή εικόνα μια χαρά, δε κολλάει.
Όσο αφορά την θερμοκρασία ειναι συνήθως κανονική αλλά πρόσφατα έπαιζα ένα παιχνίδι του 18(shadow of the tomb raider) και ανέβηκε αρκετά (80 με 85 βαθμούς)
Αυτα για την κάρτα, αν θες να πάρεις μια με 100 ευρώ είσαι εδώ η πάρε μια από εξωτερικό όπως gtx 960 με ίδια τιμή που είναι και λίγο καλύτερη.

It will play everything decently even in ultra graphics, but don't expect more than 35 stable fps in demanding games at maximum graphics (I have played WRC 7, Battlefield 1, and COD WWII so far). Fps drops quite a bit in crazy conditions. However, it will play very smoothly without any lag on medium settings. There is no chaotic difference between ultra and medium. Temperature stays steady at 60-65 degrees and after hours of gameplay with the fan set at 70% so it doesn't sound crazy.
θα παιξει τα παντα αξιοπρεπως ακομη και στα ultra γραφικα αλλα μην περιμενετε πανω απο 35 σταθερα fps σε απαιτητηκα παιχνιδια στα maximum γραφικα(εχω παιξει μεχρι στιγμης wrc 7, battlefield 1 kai cod wwii) . τα fps σε συνθηκες τρελας πεφτουν αρκετα. στα medium ομως θα παιξει πολυ ομαλα χωρις κολληματα. νταξει δεν υπαρχει κ καμια χαοτικη διαφορα αναμεσα σε ultra και medium. απο θερμοκρασιες σταθερα 60-65 κ μετα απο πολυωρη χρηση παιχνιδιου με το ανεμιστηρακι ρυθμισμενο στο 70% ωστε να μην ακουγεται σαν παλαβο.

It is an amazing graphics card especially for its price, it's worth every penny. Full fps in Fortnite = 130fps normal, 200fps medium in Valorant, and 300-400fps. It doesn't get hot
