I have the router in a detached house on the upper floor, at the edge of the house (there was a telephone line there) and I couldn't get any WiFi signal on the other side of the house. I have placed it in the middle of the house on the upper floor and now I have full signal downstairs, with a very stable speed (12mbps) without any issues. I installed it very easily using the first method. I highly recommend it!!
Also, I had difficulty connecting it to Chromecast, I was searching for instructions on the internet and I found out that I had to disable the access point from the tp link, I struggled a bit but eventually by doing a factory reset on the Chromecast I was able to connect, without actually changing anything in the tp link settings (so obviously it was a Chromecast issue, and I just mention it in case someone else encounters the same problem)
Έχω το ρουτερ σε μονοκατοικία στον επάνω όροφο, στην άκρη του σπιτιού (εκεί υπήρχε γραμμή τηλεφώνου) και κάτω στην άλλη πλευρά του σπιτιού δεν έπιανα καθόλου WiFi. Το έχω βάλει στη μέση του σπιτιού στον επάνω όροφο και τώρα κάτω έχω φουλ σήμα, με πολύ στεθερη ταχύτητα (12mbps) χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Έκανα την εγκατασταση πολύ εύκολα με τον πρώτο τρόπο. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!
Επίσης, δυσκολεύτηκα να το συνδέσω με το Chromecast, έψαχνα οδηγίες στο internet και βρήκα ότι έπρεπε να απενεργοποιήσω το access point από το tp link, παιδεύτηκα λίγο αλλά τελικά κάνοντας μια επαναφορά εργοστασιακών στο chromecast μπόρεσα να συνδεθώ, χωρίς τελικά να πειράξω κάτι από τις ρυθμίσεις του tp link (άρα προφανώς ήταν πρόβλημα του chromecast, και απλώς το αναφέρω σε περίπτωση που αντιμετωπίσει κάποιος άλλος το ίδιο θέμα)
It doesn't work. I bought it to provide ethernet to my Vodafone TV as it didn't work with wifi. Its signal is excellent, it's powerful. However, it creates a problem in the entire network, causing the internet to drop/disconnect from the Vodafone router 20-30 times a day. The Vodafone technician informed me that the network has excessive "noise" as long as the TP-Link is plugged in and gave us a new router, but nothing changed. When I unplug the TP-Link from the socket, everything works perfectly without any disconnections or anything. Disappointed.
Δεν δουλεύει. Το πήρα για να δώσω ethernet στο vodafone TV καθώς δεν δούλευε με wifi. Το σήμα του άριστο, σκοτώνει. Από εκεί και πέρα όμως, δημιουργεί πρόβλημα σε όλο το δίκτυο με αποτέλεσμα να πέφτει/αποσυνδέεται το ίντερνετ από το router της vodafone 20-30 φορές μέσα στην μέρα. Ο τεχνικός της vodafone με ενημέρωσε πως το δίκτυο έχει υπερβολική "φασαρία" όσο το TP link είναι στην πρίζα και μας έδωσε και καινούργιο ράουτερ αλλά δεν άλλαξε κάτι. Όταν βγάζω το TP link από την πρίζα όλα δουλεύουν τέλεια και ούτε αποσυνδέσεις ούτε τίποτα. Απογοητευμένος.
Excellent for its price! It does not support 5GHz but at such a low price, we can't have everything! Just as satisfied as I am with the corresponding model TL-WA860RE, which is essentially the same repeater but the 860 gives you back the socket where you have placed it!

A bit of a hassle with the settings since the app it comes with doesn't have an option for access point. You have to connect to the device's settings via browser to set it up properly, which is more complicated.

It really does the job it promises within normal distances. I have already bought it 4 times, not just for myself but also for friends and relatives, and only good impressions have been heard. In the 100 square meters of the house where I use it, I didn't have an issue with the signal range, but the actual speed drops. For example, directly to the router, I was getting higher speeds, but I didn't have a good signal where I wanted it. With this specific extender, that problem was solved, but I lost speed. quite good and stable. I have connected it to an old Smart TV via Ethernet because the TV's WiFi had issues. I have had it for almost 2 years and I haven't encountered the slightest problem. It connects within seconds by pressing the WPS button on the router. There are definitely much better options now than this, but if you want to get the job done, it will help you just fine.
αρκετά καλό και σταθερό. το έχω συνδέσει με μια παλιά Smart tv μεσω Ethernet επειδή το WiFi της τηλεόρασης είχε πρόβλημα. το έχω σχεδόν 2 χρόνια καί δεν έχω αντιμετωπίσει το παραμικρό πρόβλημα. συνδέεται μεσα σε δευτερόλεπτα πατώντας το κουμπί wps στο ρούτερ. σίγουρα υπάρχουν και πολύ καλύτερα πλέον απο αυτό αλλα αν θες να κάνεις την δουλειά σου μια χαρά θα σε βοηθήσει.
It works, but it needs "line of sight" with the router, which is not easy with most home layouts.

Ultimately, the solution was mesh WiFi.

Although beautiful, minimal, and elegant, unfortunately, it doesn't do the job. On a 200 Mbps line, it couldn't achieve speeds greater than 70 Mbps. If you can afford it, choose the RE650 v2 from the same company with closed eyes. It's like day and night!

Well, I have had the product for about 1 year intensively and I constantly have problems. I won't talk about the speed which doesn't concern me. I have very serious connection issues. The extender always needed a reset every two days to get unstuck. Now I changed my provider who gave me a router with a 4G card. In the last month and much more intensely in the last week, the phone shows that there is no internet connection whenever it connects to the TpLink. ONLY to the TpLink and nowhere else. I have reset it many times throughout the day and nothing happens. I have never been fully satisfied. Two stars because it is easy to connect and set up. But beyond that, stay away. Get something that is permanently connected to the router and has no disconnection issues. For me, that is the most important thing. As for speed, there is no drop compared to what the router catches for me anyway.
Λοιπόν έχω το προϊόν εδώ και περίπου 1 χρόνο εντατικά και έχω συνεχώς προβλήματα. Δεν θα μιλήσω για την ταχύτητα η οποία δεν με ενδιαφέρει. Έχω πολύ σοβαρά προβλήματα σύνδεσης. Πάντα το extender ήθελε reset κάθε δύο μέρες για να ξεκολλήσει. Τώρα άλλαξα πάροχο ο οποίος μου έδωσε ρούτερ με 4G κάρτα. Τον τελευταίο μήνα και πολύ πιο έντονα την τελευταία εβδομάδα το κινητό βγάζει ότι δεν υπάρχει σύνδεση στο internet όποτε συνδέεται στο Tplink. ΜΟΝΟ στο TpLink και πουθενά αλλού. Το έχω κάνει reset πολλές φορές μέσα στην μέρα και δεν γίνεται τίποτα. Ποτέ δεν ήμουν πλήρως ικανοποιημένος. Δύο αστέρια γιατί είναι εύκολο στην σύνδεση και στην ρύθμιση του. Αλλά από εκεί και πέρα μακριά. Πάρτε κατι που να είναι συνδεμένο μόνιμα στο router και δεν έχει προβλήματα αποσύνδεσης. Για εμένα αυτό είναι το σημαντικότερο. Από ταχύτητα δεν έχει πτώση σε σχέση με τι πιάνει το router σε εμένα πάντως.

Yes, definitely the setup is very easy but I was not satisfied at all. Although it does have a long range, the speed it offers is not satisfactory. While my regular router reaches 25 Mbps, the extender reaches a maximum of 15 Mbps and sometimes even drops to 3 Mbps!!!!!! I do not recommend it
Ναι σίγουρα το setup είναι πολυ ευκολο όμως δεν έμεινα καθόλου ικανοποιημενος.Παρότι έχει όντως μεγάλη εμβέλεια η ταχυτητα που προσφερει δεν είναι ικανοποιητική. Ενώ το κανονικό μου router πιάνει 25 Mbps το extender πιάνει max 15 και κάποιες φορές πεφτει μέχρι και 3Mbps!!!!!! Δεν το συνιστώ
It took me a while to figure it out but everything is ok. You should download the Tether app, then follow the installation instructions & add the device to the router's "dynamic" while you have placed it in a socket close enough to detect it. Make sure the "connection" concerns the same network & place the signal booster in a point that helps you communicate with other devices such as PC (Desktop), thus extending its range. It definitely has a very good range & finally the internet became easily accessible throughout the house!

Προσέξτε να αφορά το ίδιο δίκτυο η "σύνδεση" & τοποθετήστε τον ενισχυτή σήματος σε σημείο που να σας βοηθά στην επικοινωνία με άλλες συσκευές όπως PC (Desktop), επεκτείνοντας έτσι την ακτίνα δράσης του. Σίγουρα έχει πολύ καλή εμβέλεια & επιτέλους το ίντερνετ έγινε εύκολα προσβάσιμο σε όλο το σπίτι!

Εύκολα τελικά στην εγκατάσταση ,το ρούτερ είναι στο δωμάτιο Μ κ μέχρι τ σαλόνι ,μας χωρίζει ένα δωμάτιο,όλες οι συσκευές από σαλόνι δυσκολεύονται ή δεν συνδέονται με τ ρούτερ οπότε χρειάστηκα τ extender,το οποίο τ έβαλα στο δωμάτιο τ σαλονιού ,πρέπει να έχει εμβέλεια ελάχιστο 3/5 κουτάκια του δεξιού ημικύκλιου,όμως αν δείτε με ένα δωμάτιο διαφορά από σαλόνι έχει τρία τ ελάχιστο παρόλαυτα όλες οι συσκες μας σαλόνι τάμπλετ συνδέονται άψογα.
Οπότε αυτό γ το οποίο τ ήθελα κάνει άψογα.
Απορώ όμως με άλλους πως βάζουν τέτοια σε συγκροτήματα διαμερισμάτων κ έχει επάρκεια σύνδεσης εδώ σ εμένα ένα δύο δωμάτια από σαλόνι κ έχει 3/5 κουτάκια,εκτός αν οι τοίχοι κάνουν έντονο τ θέμα.
Γενικά αξίζει πάντως απλά σ πιάνει μια μπριζα ρεύματος.

Συνδέεται πολύ εύκολα αφού κατεβάζεις την εφαρμογη μετά αν τον βγάλεις από την πρίζα και του τοποθετήσεις αλλού αν είναι στον ίδιο χώρο δεν το ίδιο router ξανασυνδέεται αυτόματα χωρίς να κάνεις καμία κίνηση από μόνος του έχει ειδικά led φωτάκια που σου προσδιορίζουν ποιο είναι το πιο κατάλληλο σημείο για να τοποθετηθεί πρέπει να το χεις κάπου ενδιάμεσα στο router και στο χώρο που θες εσύ να ενισχύσεις στο σήμα του wi-fi

μόλις ανοίξει πατάς στον + που είναι επάνω δεξιά μετά Range Extender ακολουθείς τα βήματα που σου λέει κάνεις αναζήτηση της συσκευής την επιλέγεις βάζεις και τον κωδικό που αναγράφετε στο πίσω μέρος της συσκευής που ξεκινάει με το S/N αλλά εσύ θες μόνο τα νούμερα που αναγραφεί διπλά τα γράφεις μετά πατάς εργαλεία κάτω δεξιά κατάσταση λειτουργιάς και επειδή το router που έχεις στο σπίτι η στο γραφείο σου είναι ασύρματο επιλέγεις Range Extender και μετά αποθήκευση επάνω δέξια
αν θυμάμαι καλά κάποια στιγμή θα σου ζητήσει και τον κωδικό που έχεις στο router σου για το wi-fi για να πάρει σήμα

I have the router in a detached house on the upper floor, at the edge of the house (there was a telephone line there) and I couldn't get any WiFi signal on the other side of the house. I have placed it in the middle of the house on the upper floor and now I have full signal downstairs, with a very stable speed (12mbps) without any issues. I installed it very easily using the first method. I highly recommend it!!
Also, I had difficulty connecting it to Chromecast, I was searching for instructions on the internet and I found out that I had to disable the access point from the tp link, I struggled a bit but eventually by doing a factory reset on the Chromecast I was able to connect, without actually changing anything in the tp link settings (so obviously it was a Chromecast issue, and I just mention it in case someone else encounters the same problem)
Έχω το ρουτερ σε μονοκατοικία στον επάνω όροφο, στην άκρη του σπιτιού (εκεί υπήρχε γραμμή τηλεφώνου) και κάτω στην άλλη πλευρά του σπιτιού δεν έπιανα καθόλου WiFi. Το έχω βάλει στη μέση του σπιτιού στον επάνω όροφο και τώρα κάτω έχω φουλ σήμα, με πολύ στεθερη ταχύτητα (12mbps) χωρίς κανένα πρόβλημα. Έκανα την εγκατασταση πολύ εύκολα με τον πρώτο τρόπο. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!
Επίσης, δυσκολεύτηκα να το συνδέσω με το Chromecast, έψαχνα οδηγίες στο internet και βρήκα ότι έπρεπε να απενεργοποιήσω το access point από το tp link, παιδεύτηκα λίγο αλλά τελικά κάνοντας μια επαναφορά εργοστασιακών στο chromecast μπόρεσα να συνδεθώ, χωρίς τελικά να πειράξω κάτι από τις ρυθμίσεις του tp link (άρα προφανώς ήταν πρόβλημα του chromecast, και απλώς το αναφέρω σε περίπτωση που αντιμετωπίσει κάποιος άλλος το ίδιο θέμα)
It doesn't work. I bought it to provide ethernet to my Vodafone TV as it didn't work with wifi. Its signal is excellent, it's powerful. However, it creates a problem in the entire network, causing the internet to drop/disconnect from the Vodafone router 20-30 times a day. The Vodafone technician informed me that the network has excessive "noise" as long as the TP-Link is plugged in and gave us a new router, but nothing changed. When I unplug the TP-Link from the socket, everything works perfectly without any disconnections or anything. Disappointed.
Δεν δουλεύει. Το πήρα για να δώσω ethernet στο vodafone TV καθώς δεν δούλευε με wifi. Το σήμα του άριστο, σκοτώνει. Από εκεί και πέρα όμως, δημιουργεί πρόβλημα σε όλο το δίκτυο με αποτέλεσμα να πέφτει/αποσυνδέεται το ίντερνετ από το router της vodafone 20-30 φορές μέσα στην μέρα. Ο τεχνικός της vodafone με ενημέρωσε πως το δίκτυο έχει υπερβολική "φασαρία" όσο το TP link είναι στην πρίζα και μας έδωσε και καινούργιο ράουτερ αλλά δεν άλλαξε κάτι. Όταν βγάζω το TP link από την πρίζα όλα δουλεύουν τέλεια και ούτε αποσυνδέσεις ούτε τίποτα. Απογοητευμένος.
Excellent for its price! It does not support 5GHz but at such a low price, we can't have everything! Just as satisfied as I am with the corresponding model TL-WA860RE, which is essentially the same repeater but the 860 gives you back the socket where you have placed it!

A bit of a hassle with the settings since the app it comes with doesn't have an option for access point. You have to connect to the device's settings via browser to set it up properly, which is more complicated.
ταλαιπωρία λίγο στις ρυθμίσεις μιας και το app που έχει δεν έχει επιλογή για access point. πρέπει να συνδεθείς στις ρυθμίσεις της συσκευής μέσω browser για να το φτιάξεις σωστά κάτι που είναι πιο περίπλοκο.
the only problem I have is with the new phone (2025) which for some reason can't connect.. so hotspot from the old one (2019) which is on the extender and I get the job done for now

Disappointment... very poor signal from one end of the bed to the other, it doesn't give me full signal... Look for something a bit more expensive but more reliable..

It really does the job it promises within normal distances. I have already bought it 4 times, not just for myself but also for friends and relatives, and only good impressions have been heard. Also, as a construction, it doesn't get damaged. I have the older model for almost 8 years and it works like new.

In the 100 square meters of the house where I use it, I didn't have an issue with the signal range, but the actual speed drops. For example, directly to the router, I was getting higher speeds, but I didn't have a good signal where I wanted it. With this specific extender, that problem was solved, but I lost speed. Not that you would notice anything in daily life, but in measurements, it loses. 3 / 5 for me because you gain in some areas and lose in others

quite good and stable. I have connected it to an old Smart TV via Ethernet because the TV's WiFi had issues. I have had it for almost 2 years and I haven't encountered the slightest problem. It connects within seconds by pressing the WPS button on the router. There are definitely much better options now than this, but if you want to get the job done, it will help you just fine.
αρκετά καλό και σταθερό. το έχω συνδέσει με μια παλιά Smart tv μεσω Ethernet επειδή το WiFi της τηλεόρασης είχε πρόβλημα. το έχω σχεδόν 2 χρόνια καί δεν έχω αντιμετωπίσει το παραμικρό πρόβλημα. συνδέεται μεσα σε δευτερόλεπτα πατώντας το κουμπί wps στο ρούτερ. σίγουρα υπάρχουν και πολύ καλύτερα πλέον απο αυτό αλλα αν θες να κάνεις την δουλειά σου μια χαρά θα σε βοηθήσει.

Ultimately, the solution was mesh WiFi.

Although beautiful, minimal, and elegant, unfortunately, it doesn't do the job. On a 200 Mbps line, it couldn't achieve speeds greater than 70 Mbps. If you can afford it, choose the RE650 v2 from the same company with closed eyes. It's like day and night!

Well, I have had the product for about 1 year intensively and I constantly have problems. I won't talk about the speed which doesn't concern me. I have very serious connection issues. The extender always needed a reset every two days to get unstuck. Now I changed my provider who gave me a router with a 4G card. In the last month and much more intensely in the last week, the phone shows that there is no internet connection whenever it connects to the TpLink. ONLY to the TpLink and nowhere else. I have reset it many times throughout the day and nothing happens. I have never been fully satisfied. Two stars because it is easy to connect and set up. But beyond that, stay away. Get something that is permanently connected to the router and has no disconnection issues. For me, that is the most important thing. As for speed, there is no drop compared to what the router catches for me anyway.
Λοιπόν έχω το προϊόν εδώ και περίπου 1 χρόνο εντατικά και έχω συνεχώς προβλήματα. Δεν θα μιλήσω για την ταχύτητα η οποία δεν με ενδιαφέρει. Έχω πολύ σοβαρά προβλήματα σύνδεσης. Πάντα το extender ήθελε reset κάθε δύο μέρες για να ξεκολλήσει. Τώρα άλλαξα πάροχο ο οποίος μου έδωσε ρούτερ με 4G κάρτα. Τον τελευταίο μήνα και πολύ πιο έντονα την τελευταία εβδομάδα το κινητό βγάζει ότι δεν υπάρχει σύνδεση στο internet όποτε συνδέεται στο Tplink. ΜΟΝΟ στο TpLink και πουθενά αλλού. Το έχω κάνει reset πολλές φορές μέσα στην μέρα και δεν γίνεται τίποτα. Ποτέ δεν ήμουν πλήρως ικανοποιημένος. Δύο αστέρια γιατί είναι εύκολο στην σύνδεση και στην ρύθμιση του. Αλλά από εκεί και πέρα μακριά. Πάρτε κατι που να είναι συνδεμένο μόνιμα στο router και δεν έχει προβλήματα αποσύνδεσης. Για εμένα αυτό είναι το σημαντικότερο. Από ταχύτητα δεν έχει πτώση σε σχέση με τι πιάνει το router σε εμένα πάντως.

Με την εφαρμογή στο κινητό μπορείς να ρυθμίσεις και το πότε θα μένουν αναμμένα τα λαμπάκια του, εγώ το έχω σε υπνοδωμάτιο και με ενοχλούν αν παραμένουν αναμμένα.
Για να συνδεθεί θέλει διαχωρισμό το κανάλι του 2.4g και του 5.0g από το router.

Yes, definitely the setup is very easy but I was not satisfied at all. Although it does have a long range, the speed it offers is not satisfactory. While my regular router reaches 25 Mbps, the extender reaches a maximum of 15 Mbps and sometimes even drops to 3 Mbps!!!!!! I do not recommend it

It took me a while to figure it out but everything is ok. You should download the Tether app, then follow the installation instructions & add the device to the router's "dynamic" while you have placed it in a socket close enough to detect it. Make sure the "connection" concerns the same network & place the signal booster in a point that helps you communicate with other devices such as PC (Desktop), thus extending its range. It definitely has a very good range & finally the internet became easily accessible throughout the house!

Προσέξτε να αφορά το ίδιο δίκτυο η "σύνδεση" & τοποθετήστε τον ενισχυτή σήματος σε σημείο που να σας βοηθά στην επικοινωνία με άλλες συσκευές όπως PC (Desktop), επεκτείνοντας έτσι την ακτίνα δράσης του. Σίγουρα έχει πολύ καλή εμβέλεια & επιτέλους το ίντερνετ έγινε εύκολα προσβάσιμο σε όλο το σπίτι!

Εύκολα τελικά στην εγκατάσταση ,το ρούτερ είναι στο δωμάτιο Μ κ μέχρι τ σαλόνι ,μας χωρίζει ένα δωμάτιο,όλες οι συσκευές από σαλόνι δυσκολεύονται ή δεν συνδέονται με τ ρούτερ οπότε χρειάστηκα τ extender,το οποίο τ έβαλα στο δωμάτιο τ σαλονιού ,πρέπει να έχει εμβέλεια ελάχιστο 3/5 κουτάκια του δεξιού ημικύκλιου,όμως αν δείτε με ένα δωμάτιο διαφορά από σαλόνι έχει τρία τ ελάχιστο παρόλαυτα όλες οι συσκες μας σαλόνι τάμπλετ συνδέονται άψογα.
Οπότε αυτό γ το οποίο τ ήθελα κάνει άψογα.
Απορώ όμως με άλλους πως βάζουν τέτοια σε συγκροτήματα διαμερισμάτων κ έχει επάρκεια σύνδεσης εδώ σ εμένα ένα δύο δωμάτια από σαλόνι κ έχει 3/5 κουτάκια,εκτός αν οι τοίχοι κάνουν έντονο τ θέμα.
Γενικά αξίζει πάντως απλά σ πιάνει μια μπριζα ρεύματος.

Συνδέεται πολύ εύκολα αφού κατεβάζεις την εφαρμογη μετά αν τον βγάλεις από την πρίζα και του τοποθετήσεις αλλού αν είναι στον ίδιο χώρο δεν το ίδιο router ξανασυνδέεται αυτόματα χωρίς να κάνεις καμία κίνηση από μόνος του έχει ειδικά led φωτάκια που σου προσδιορίζουν ποιο είναι το πιο κατάλληλο σημείο για να τοποθετηθεί πρέπει να το χεις κάπου ενδιάμεσα στο router και στο χώρο που θες εσύ να ενισχύσεις στο σήμα του wi-fi
