After that, the small plastic piece inside the USB port broke and got stuck in a cable when I tried to remove it. Maybe I got a defective unit. However, while it was functioning properly, I had no issues. I used it to charge an MP3 player. It never charged as intensely as a mobile phone, so it didn't overheat.

    I bought another similar style, slightly smaller in size and with a larger battery because the previous one was out of stock. I wanted to check if it was a one-time issue or if the product was generally of poor quality
