I have the same model, bought in 2004 (22 years), I have cut everything, even steel screws, and it hasn't suffered any damage!!!! This so-called Knipex that I received, when cutting a piece of wire, its tip broke!!!!! If there were bananas instead of stars, I would give bananas. The 30€ I paid was a waste.
Έχω το ίδιο μοντέλο, αγορά 2004 (22 χρόνια), εχω κόψει τα πάντα μέχρι και ατσάλινες βίδες και δεν έχει πάθει τίποτα !!!! Αυτό το δήθεν knipex που παρέλαβα, κόβοντας ενα κομμάτι σύρμα, έσπασε η μύτη του !!!!! Αν υπήρχαν μπανάνες αντί για αστεράκια θα έβαζα μπανάνες. Τσάμπα τα 30€ που πλήρωσα.

I also have the 200mm one, but it doesn’t cut steel wire easily, unlike the cutters that even the smaller Knipex pliers have. The pliers should be harder to cut with, and this one here, which is a more specialized tool for cutting wire and also has a longer handle, should cut more easily; however, I’m getting the opposite results!! Another reason I gave 3 stars, while for all the other tools from this company I’ve given 5. Lately, where it was by far the best company, I see that it has taken a dive in quality. And the finish is no longer the same, something that, beyond the visual aspect, on some tools takes even a little away from the precision and performance of the tool. I would suggest that if you’re going to buy Knipex, don’t order online, but go to small old shops that don’t have much customer traffic, and you’ll surely find some old pieces! The old Knipex are generally not made again! They were by far the most efficient and highest-quality tools out there!!
Έχω και το 200άρι αλλά δε κόβει ατσαλόσυρμα εύκολα, όσο οι κόφτες που έχουν ακόμα και οι πιο μικρές πένσες της Knipex. Θα έπρεπε οι πένσες να κόβουν πιο δύσκολα και αυτό εδώ που είναι πιο εξειδικευμένο εργαλείο στο να κόβει σύρμα αλλά και έχοντας πιο μακριά λαβή, να κόβει πιο εύκολα, παρόλα αυτά, έχω τα αντίθετα αποτελέσματα!! Άλλος ένας λόγος που έβαλα 3 αστέρια, ενώ σε όλα τα άλλα εργαλεία της εταιρίας αυτής, έχω βάλει 5. Τελευταία,εκεί που ήταν μακράν η καλύτερη εταιρία ,βλέπω να έχει κάνει βουτιά προς τα κάτω στη ποιότητα. και το φινίρισμα δεν είναι ποια το ίδιο, κάτι που πέρα από το οπτικό κομμάτι, σε κάποια εργαλεία, αφαιρεί έστω και λίγο από την ακρίβεια και την απόδοση του εργαλείου. Θα πρότεινα, αν πάτε για αγορά Knipex, να μη παραγγείλετε, αλλά να πάτε σε μικρά παλιά μαγαζιά, που δεν έχουν πολύ αγοραστική κίνηση και όλο και κάποια παλιά κομμάτια θα βρείτε! Τα παλιά Knipex, δε ξαναβγαίνουν γενικά! Ήταν μακράν, τα πιο αποδοτικά και τα πιο ποιοτικά εργαλεία εκεί έξω!!
