The QSC K8.2 is a premium two-way active PA speaker with a compact design. It is engineered to deliver exceptional audio clarity and wide coverage for live music events and speeches. Its powerful digital control with display enables quick monitoring of all the system’s key functions. Its multi-channel connectivity lets you connect microphones, instruments, and audio sources directly, with no additional equipment. Its lightweight yet durable construction ensures easy transport and long-lasting professional reliability.

2-Way Acoustic Design and 105° Coverage

The 2-way acoustic design incorporates an 8" (203 mm) cone woofer.
A 1.4" (35.6 mm) titanium-diaphragm compression driver handles the high frequencies.
The frequency range extends from 59 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB) and reaches down to 55 Hz (-10 dB).
The symmetrical axial design delivers an exceptionally wide 105° Axisymetric coverage angle.
This dispersion ensures a uniform, coherent sound field throughout the audience.
The combination of drivers delivers crystal-clear vocals and natural instrument reproduction.

2000W Peak Class-D Amplifier with Silent Cooling

The Class-D amplifier delivers a total peak power of up to 2000W Peak.
Power is distributed as 1800 W (LF) for the woofer and 225 W (HF) for the high-frequency driver.
The speaker produces a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB peak SPL (122 dB continuous) at 1 meter.
Active thermal management is ensured by a variable-speed low-noise fan.
Power consumption is limited to 1.1 A (at 1/8 power) and just 0.2A in Standby.
This ensures stable operation with plenty of dynamic headroom, even during intensive use.

LCD display, LED indicators, and controls

An easy-to-read 1.75" x 1" (45 x 25.4 mm) LCD screen is prominently featured on the rear panel.
Controls include a push-button rotary encoder and 2 selection buttons.
3 independent level controls provide precise adjustment of each connected source.
Indicators include front and rear Power LEDs and 3 Input Signal LEDs.
Dedicated LEDs indicate Mic selection (Input A), Hi-Z selection (Input B), and Limiter activation.
The operator has full, reliable, real-time control over all digital parameters.

Multichannel Connectivity and Signal Mixing

The input panel features 2 locking XLR/F 1/4" combo jacks with a locking mechanism.
Input A supports Mic/Line Input signals, while input B operates as a Hi-Z/Line Input for instruments.
It also includes a 3.5 mm TRS stereo input for direct playback from portable devices.
For expandability, it provides 2 XLR/M Loop-thru outputs and one independent Mix Output.
Power is supplied via a locking IEC power connector.
This connectivity allows the system to operate independently without an external mixer.

Durable ABS Enclosure, M10 Mounting Points, and Portability

The enclosure is made from high-strength, black impact-resistant ABS polymer.
Front protection is provided by an 18-gauge powder-coated steel grille with an internal fabric lining.
For permanent suspension and specialist installations, it features 2 M10 suspension points.
Its compact dimensions of 28 x 26.9 x 44.9 cm (449 x 280 x 269 mm) make it easy to place in any space.
