A careful look at the modern history of the Russian people, as well as the accounts of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the 20th century under the atheistic regime of the former USSR, will confront us with the chilling crimes.

Slowly occurring from the early years of the October Revolution until the fall of the regime, we count many thousands of martyrs. It is not so much their number that matters, but the way they were persecuted, tortured, and ultimately executed.

There was no justification, and thus countless excuses and pretexts were invented to justify any of their decisions. In the end, they were all labeled enemies of the people and treated as such, not only by the authorities but, unfortunately, by the people as well...
