The trip to Pelion made me feel up close the beauty and wildness of nature; because the landscape up there is sometimes gentle and sometimes fierce and threatening. The ascent is made via winding roads, often carved into the slopes of the rocks, leading you to the kingdom of nature, to a vast garden, which is cultivated in some places and wild in others. Thus, we passed through shrublands with spartium, heather, and ferns, through forests with pines or orchards with olive trees, chestnuts, walnuts, apple trees, and we couldn't get enough of admiring the rich and diverse vegetation. At other times, we encountered plane trees and stopped for a while in their cool shade, next to fountains or streams, enjoying the view and the refreshing waters.
