Description

Atrauman® Ag, the ointment-containing dressing with silver for antibacterial action. The dressings are made of hydrophobic knitted tulle from polyamide, with fibers surrounded by silver in elemental form. In direct contact with the wound, they act microbiologically against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.

They are impregnated with a neutral ointment, without added petroleum jelly or other paraffins. The dressings are permeable to exudates and particularly gentle, offering excellent folding capabilities. They do not adhere to the wound, with microbiological action of at least 7 days.

The ointment contains: A mixture of esters from natural, plant-based fatty acids bound as diglycerides and triglycerides Macrogol 2000.

Use: For the treatment of superficial wounds as well as for complementary protection during the treatment of high microbial load or infected wounds, and for infection prevention.

    Be careful where you buy them from, some sell the 10X10 at the price of the 10X20 (30€), they are advertised as free but a surgeon must write them and they must come from a company for photography... Be careful, the second time they are delayed (about 2 weeks) because they go through a committee, if you run out you have to buy more until the others arrive (Be careful, they cannot give the product before the committee is completed). But they really worth it!
