It constantly freezes, loses settings, and the TV (which is also LG) sends other signals but understands this, suddenly switches to OPTICAL, loses everything, and never reconnects unless I remove all HDMI cables and reset. There are definitely better solutions.

Buy at 249 euros, bad!!! It says 1000 watts but it's not even 100, the sound is like from a transistor radio from a Chinese store. You have to pray for Netflix & YouTube to load... it's a snail. The worst purchase I have made after a JVC stereo. It's not worth even 100 euros, better 5.1 speakers for a computer!

250€ πολύ αδύναμο μπάσο. Χίλιες φορές να αγόραζα ένα sound bar 125 €. Κρίμα. το μπάσο έχει κατασκευαστικο λάθος. Η τρύπα που βγαίνει το καλώδιο είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερη από το καλώδιο με αποτέλεσμα στο 35 % να τρίζει όλο. Χαριστικά 2 αστέρια. Επίσης το πήγα στο service και μου είπαν ότι στην καλύτερη περίπτωση θα το παραλάβω σε 15 ημέρες. Συμβουλή. Καλύτερα δώστε 100 ή 200 παραπάνω σε μια εταιρεία που ασχολείται με ηχοσυστηματα.
I bought it for 100 euros from an acquaintance who was moving. It was a small risk since I hadn't seen it up close. When I connected it to the living room and tested a bluray movie (Lord of the Rings), I was simply thrilled. I use it every day whether I want to watch a movie (from a computer, USB, DVD) or YouTube. But when I connected it to the computer and played games (racing, shooter), I was blown away. I didn't connect it to the TV because I don't watch it. The negative aspect for me is the price. In the current evaluation phase, it costs 300 euros.
Το αγόρασα 100 ευρώ από γνωστό που μετακόμιζε. Ένα μικρό ρίσκο μιας και δεν το είχα ακούσει από κοντά. Όταν το σύνδεσα στο σαλόνι και έβαλα δοκιμαστικά μια bluray ταινία (άρχοντας των δαχτυλιδιών) απλά ξετρελάθηκα. Το δουλεύω κάθε μέρα είτε θέλω να δω ταινία (από υπολογιστή, usb, dvd) ή YouTube.. Αλλά όταν το σύνδεσα με τον υπολογιστή και έπαιξα παιχνίδια (racing, shooter) απογειώθηκα.. Με την τηλεόραση δεν το σύνδεσα γιατί δεν βλέπω. Αρνητικό για εμένα είναι η τιμή. Στη τρέχουσα φάση που κάνω αξιολόγηση κάνει 300 ευρώ.
It is definitely not like the previous LG flagships, although in general the Home Cinema as we know it tends to be abolished objectively, however, it outperforms all soundbars even those with mid-range dolby atmos. The rear speakers are there and come into play! The Tweeters don't sound as I would like, but I give it 5 stars for the volume of sound and clarity even at max, you will definitely enjoy it. P.S. Do not pay more than 200€ P.S.2 I have my old lg home cinema bh7540tw which I still consider the best piece that lg has ever offered in our country and which indeed shakes the couch, the house, the building and the entire square as it has an extra Tweeter unit in each speaker.
Σίγουρα δεν είναι σαν τις προηγούμενες ναυαρχίδες της LG αν και γενικά τείνει να καταργηθεί το Home Cinema όπως το ξερουμε, αντικειμενικά όμως βάζει κάτω όλες τις ηχομπαρες ακόμα κι εκείνες που φέρουν dolby atmos μεσαίου κόστους. Τα πίσω ηχεία υπάρχουν και μπαίνουν στο παιχνίδι! Τα Tweeter δεν ακούγονται έτσι όπως θα ήθελα, όμως βάζω 5 αστέρια για τον όγκο του ήχου και την καθαρότητα ακόμα και στο max, σίγουρα θα το ευχαριστηθείτε. Υ.Γ. Μην δώσετε πάνω από 200€ Υ.Γ.2 έχω το παλιό μου lg home cinema bh7540tw το οποίο συνεχίζω να θεωρώ το καλύτερο κομμάτι που διέθεσε η lg τη χώρα μας πότε και το οποίο πράγματι κουνάει τον καναπέ το σπίτι την οικοδομή και το τετράγωνο όλο κι έχει σε κάθε ηχείο έξτρα μονάδα Tweeter.
This specific home cinema is the second one from LG that I am using after the HX906PX (2012 model) which I enjoyed for the past 8 years. Although we are essentially talking about almost the same machine but in an advanced form, their difference is huge. The HX906PX had sound coming from the front (like all) and also from above with an extra speaker. This automatically turned the 5.1 into 9.1 with three-dimensional sound that filled the room. It even had a special button on the remote to choose 3D sound (music-movies) in addition to the classic presets (the only ones available on the LHB645N), which I never used because the sound was clearly inferior. It also had a very powerful subwoofer that made the couch literally shake. Unfortunately, the LHB645N does not have any of the above and the experience is disappointing. Tiny speakers, monotonous sound, without intensity and a mini... subwoofer that simply does not do the job it should. Of course, it is better than the TV speakers and that's why it seems super to many who have not heard anything else, but in no case is the sound it delivers satisfactory.
* Putting a second speaker on the rear surround that is fake and does not work but has been added as a decoration is nothing but a deception! Bravo to LG for the innovation...
* You should also know that LG provides spare parts for each of their machines for up to 5 years from their release. This specific home cinema is a 2017 model, so if something goes wrong after 2022, you will not be able to repair it.
Το συγκεκριμενο home cinema ειναι το 2ο της LG που χρησιμοποιω μετα το HX906PX (μοντελο του 2012) το οποιο απολαμβανα τα τελευταια 8 χρονια. Παρολο που στην ουσια μιλαμε για σχεδον ιδιο μηχανημα αλλα σε εξελιγμενη μορφη η διαφορα τους ειναι τεραστια. Το HX906PX σε καθε ηχειο (εκτος απο το κεντρικο) εβγαζε ηχο απο μπροστα (οπως ολα) αλλα και απο πανω με εξτρα ηχειο. Ετσι το 5.1 γινοταν αυτοματως 9.1 με τρισδιαστατο ηχο που γεμιζε το δωματιο. Ειχε μαλιστα ειδικο κουμπι στο remote ωστε να επιλεγεις 3D sound (music-movies) εκτος απο τα κλασσικα presets (τα μονα που διαθετει το LHB645N), τα οποια δεν χρησιμοποιησα ποτε γιατι ο ηχος ηταν σαφως κατωτερος. Διέθετε επισης ενα πανισχυρο subwoofer που εκανε τον καναπε να κουνιεται στην κυριολεξια. Δυστυχως το LHB645N δεν εχει τιποτα απο τα παραπανω και η εμπειρια ειναι απογοητευτικη. Μικροσκοπικα ηχεια, μονοδιαστατος ηχος, χωρις ενταση και mini... subwoofer το οποιο απλα δεν κανει την δουλεια που πρεπει. Φυσικα απο τα ηχεια της τηλεορασης ειναι καλυτερο και γι αυτο σε πολλους που δεν εχουν ακουσει κατι αλλο φαινεται super, σε καμια περιπτωση ομως δεν ειναι ικανοποιητικος ο ηχος που αποδιδει.
* Το να βαζεις 2ο ηχειο στα πισω surround το οποιο ειναι ψευτικο και δεν λειτουργει αλλα εχει μπει ως διακοσμητικό το λες και απατη! Μπραβο στην LG για την πρωτοπορια...
* Θα πρεπει επισης να γνωριζετε οτι η LG διαθετει ανταλλακτικα για καθε μηχανημα της μεχρι 5 χρονια απο την κυκλοφορια τους. Το συγκεκριμενο home cinema ειναι μοντελο του 2017 οποτε αν παθει κατι μετα το 2022 δεν θα μπορεσετε να το επιδιορθωσετε.
I bought the aforementioned product about 2 years ago at the discounted price of €199. Despite the low price, choosing the Samsung TV was a one-way street.
The home cinema simply rocks considering its price. Powerful sound, satisfactory bass, nice appearance, and plenty of settings. As for connectivity, you can connect via Bluetooth to any device to play sound, via HDMI ARC (as long as the TV supports it) to play the TV's sound, and via optical fiber. Regarding the speakers placed opposite the living room and next to the TV, NOTE that one of the 2 speakers is decorative, meaning it doesn't produce any sound. The bass is satisfactory (maybe not 100% clear). I highly recommend it as an option given its price. After 2 years of continuous use, I haven't noticed anything negative.
Αγόρασα το εν λόγω προϊόν πριν από περίπου 2 χρόνια στην προνομιακή τιμή των 199€. Παρότι η τηλεόραση Samsung εξαιτίας της χαμηλής τιμής η επιλογή ήταν μονόδρομος.
Το home cinema απλώς τα σπάει δεδομένου της τιμής του. Δυνατός ήχος, ικανοποιητικό μπάσο, όμορφο σε εμφάνιση κ αρκετές ρυθμίσεις. Σε ότι αφορά συνδεσιμότητες μπορείς συνδεθείς μέσω Bluetooth με οποιαδήποτε συσκευή προκειμένου να αναπαράξεις ήχο, μέσω hdmi arc(αρκεί να το υποστηρίζει και η tv) προκειμένου να μπορείς να αναπαράξεις ήχο της τηλεόρασης και μέσω οπτικής ίνας. Σε ότι αφορά τις κολόνες που τοποθετούνται αντικριστά από το σαλόνι και δίπλα από την τηλεόραση ΥΠΌΨΙΝ ότι το ένα εκ των 2 ηχείων που έχει είναι διακοσμητικό που σημαίνει ότι δεν βγάζει καθόλου ήχο. Το μπάσο είναι ικανοποιητικό (ίσως όχι 100% καθαρό). Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σαν επιλογή δεδομένου των χρημάτων του. Έπειτα από 2 χρόνια συνεχούς χρήσης δεν έχω παρατηρήσει κάτι αρνητικό.
Very good Home Cinema! With the correct settings, you have proper 5.1 sound with HDMI ARC from your TV (I have Samsung).
I also tested the channels on YouTube, Netflix, and the browser with AAC-LC Channel ID (all on the TV) and everything is perfect!
The key is to make the correct Dolby settings on the audio system and the TV, and of course, the dB of each channel!
The speakers work for both the back and the front, wherever it suits each user! They have the same wattage and Ohm, so it doesn't affect the efficiency.

Εκανα και τεστ στα κανάλια, από youtube, από netflix και από τον browser με AAC-LC Channel ID ( όλα της τηλεόρασης) και είναι όλα αψογα!
Το παν είναι να κάνεις σωστές ρυθμίσεις dolby στο ηχοσύστημα και στην τηλεόραση και φυσικά στα db του κάθε καναλιού!
Οι κολώνες κάνουν και για πίσω και για μπροστά, όπου βολεύει τον κάθε χρήστη! είναι ίδια watt και ίδια Ohm όποτε δεν επηρεάζει την αποδοτικότητα.
I bought it and placed it in a small room.
I agree about the bass, it's not clear (it's loud, but not clear).. generally, the sub's cabinet doesn't impress you..
I have also tried a crystal audio casb240 2.1 system on the TV,
and compared to the bass of the LG home cinema, it falls behind.. and the fixed cable is too short to try changing its positions in the room.
As for the rest, the installation is very easy and the menu is very simple and easy to use, it flawlessly plays Blu-ray files from the hard drive that I have connected and also plays Ultra HD 5.1 from Netflix, it works perfectly.
Overall, at this price range (250 to 300 euros), it is a decent home cinema that enhances movies.
I am updating the review after two months of use,
the issue that arose for me is that the ARC via HDMI does not work properly,
the ARC communication protocols of LG with Samsung TV (model from the second half of 2020) are probably not compatible..
Sometimes, the home cinema randomly loses the high-resolution 1080p setting and I have to readjust the maximum resolution,
sometimes the device freezes or doesn't turn on at all..
I changed 3 or 4 HDMI cables, tried different settings, but the problems persisted.
As soon as I turned off the ARC simplink from the home cinema and changed the port, everything worked correctly, but I lost the ability to control the sound with the TV remote..

το αγόρασα και τοποθετήθηκε σε μικρο δωμάτιο
θα συμφωνήσω και εγώ για το μπάσο, δεν είναι καθαρό (δυνατό είναι, καθαρό δεν είναι).. γενικά η καμπίνα του sub δεν σου γεμίζει το μάτι..
έχω δοκιμάσει και ένα σύστημα crystal audio casb240 2.1 στην τηλεόραση,
και συγκριτικά το μπάσο του lg home cinema υστερεί.. και το fix καλώδιο πολύ κοντό για να δοκιμάσω να του αλλάξω θέσεις στο δωμάτιο.
στα υπόλοιπα, η εγκατάσταση πανεύκολη και το μενού πολύ απλό και εύκολο, παίζει απροβλημάτιστα αρχεία blue ray από σκληρό δίσκο που έχω συνδέσει και με ultra hd 5.1 από netflix, τα πάει μια χαρά.
γενικά σε αυτή την λογική τιμή (250 με 300 ευρώ) είναι ένα τίμιο home cinema που αναβαθμίζει τις ταινίες
ανανεώνω την κριτική μετα απο ένα δίμηνο χρήσης,

I bought this specific product 2 weeks ago from mediamarkt, which had it on sale for 229€. The home cinema is really powerful and worth every penny and more! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because unfortunately, on the second day that I turned up the volume to watch a movie, I noticed that the right speaker distorts at high volumes above 35-40%, which means that if you turn it up to 60 and above, it just screeches. And the problem is not there, the problem was with the customer service at mediamarkt, where I waited for 28 minutes on hold just to be given the wrong LG number to call and report my problem, even though I have a warranty. After finally finding the correct LG number after about ten minutes, I waited there for who knows how long to listen to all the LG messages. I decided to take the whole system with all the accessories to their store for them to check it, with an attitude as if I'm making things up, come on... that's enough to make you dizzy
Αγόρασα το συγκεκριμένο προιον πριν 2 εβδομάδες από την mediamarkt που το είχε προσφορά 229€ το homecinema πραγματικά είναι πολύ δυνατό και αξίζει τα χρήματα του με το παραπάνω!ο λόγος που έβαλα 4 και όχι 5 αστέρια είναι ότι δυστυχώς εμένα την 2η μέρα που έβαλα δυνατά το homecinema να δω ταινία παρατήρησα ότι η δεξιά κολώνα παραμορφώνει στις ψηλές φωνές σε ένταση πάνω απτό 35-40% που σημαίνει ότι αν το πας στο 60 και πάνω απλα τσιρίζει και δεν είναι το πρόβλημα εκεί το πρόβλημα το αντιμετώπισα στην εξυπηρέτηση της mediamarkt που περίμενα 28λεπτα στην αναμονή για να μου δώσουν λάθος αριθμό της lg για να πάρω να πω το πρόβλημα μου εφόσον έχω εγγύηση και αφού καταφερα μετά από κανα δεκάλεπτο να βρω το σωστο τηλ της lg και περίμενα και εκεί πόση ώρα να ακούσω όλα τα μηνύματα της lg μου είπα να τους το πάω στο κατάστημα τους όλο το σύστημα με όλα τα παρελκόμενα να το ελέγξουν με ύφος λες και κάτι σκαλώνω ελεος...αυτά σας ζαλισα

The Home Theater is amazing! In simple words, I have the volume at 35% and the house is shaking. It has a very good sound performance at high volumes and the bass... Let's just say I have lowered it to -2 and I still felt like the bombs were falling inside my house while watching Dunkirk.
Obviously, the quality of the file being played also matters, unless we're talking about Blu-ray. I have it connected to the 4k LG 55SM8600 only with HDMI. The HDMI ARC does its job perfectly if you set it up correctly, and it helps that they are the same brands. I play all my files through the TV and the sound has had no issues so far. It also comes with long cables for the rear speakers, which I think will be convenient for almost everyone.
The package does not include an HDMI cable, and if you want to use HDMI ARC, you will need to get a GOOD HDMI 1.4 (at least) cable and make sure your TV is compatible and in the right input. Otherwise, there is also the option of Optical, which I haven't tried, but I know that optical fiber for sound has a low bandwidth and only supports up to Dolby Digital 5.1, which is compressed sound. Meanwhile, with HDMI ARC, I have files that are Dolby Atmos 7.1 and the TV recognizes them and plays them perfectly on the Home Theater (in 5.1, of course - I don't know if it gets downmixed or simply ignores the two channels).
It is the best performance-price ratio available (I got it for €229) for a ready-made 5.1 sound set. You can get it with your eyes closed if you are a movie lover!
Update 14/11/2021:
I don't know if it's because of the HDMI cable I have, but sometimes the Blu-ray player is "unresponsive" when I send a command through the TV to connect via ARC. In these cases, it switches to Optical and there's no sound. Unfortunately, ARC, even though it is supported, cannot be manually selected as the sound source. So, I also got an Optical cable and have it connected both with Optical and HDMI to the TV, so I can control it with the TV remote. The Optical connection works flawlessly, and sometimes I choose Optical and the Blu-ray player connects via ARC (as if it's mocking me, really), but since I have both cables, no harm done. As I mentioned before, only Dolby Digital (not DD+) or AC3 audio up to 48 kHz passes through Optical. The good thing is that Optical 5.1 works perfectly with streaming platforms like Netflix and Cinobo.
Update 26/11/2024:
It still works perfectly! And since then, I have changed my TV, the new one I have has eARC. Although the Home Theater has regular ARC, it works perfectly with this particular TV. Only if there's a power outage, the two devices lose their connection, but with a restart of the Home Theater, it works perfectly again.
To Home Theater σπέρνει! Με απλά λόγια, έχω την ένταση στο 35% και γκρεμίζεται το σπίτι. Έχει πολύ καλή απόδοση ήχου σε μεγάλες εντάσεις και το μπάσο... Απλά θα πω ότι το έχω χαμηλώσει, είναι στο -2 και πάλι είδα το Dunkirk και νόμιζα ότι οι βόμβες έπεφταν μες στο σπίτι μου.
Προφανώς και παίζει ρόλο και η ποιότητα του αρχείου που θα αναπαράγει ο καθένας, αν δε μιλάμε για Blu-ray. Εγώ το έχω συνδεδεμένο στη 4k LG 55SM8600 μόνο με HDMI. Το HDMI ARC κάνει τέλεια τη δουλειά του αν το ρυθμίσεις σωστά, και βοηθάει που είναι και ίδιες μάρκες. Όλα μου τα αρχεία τα παίζω μέσω της τηλεόρασης και ο ήχος δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα ως τώρα. Έχει και μακριά καλώδια για τα πίσω ηχεία που νομίζω ότι θα βολέψουν σχεδόν τους πάντες.
Στη συσκευασία δεν περιέχεται καλώδιο HDMI, και αν θέλετε να χρησιμοποιήσετε HDMI ARC θα πρέπει να προμηθευτείτε ένα ΚΑΛΟ HDMI 1.4 (τουλάχιστον) καλώδιο και να είναι συμβατή η τηλεόρασή σας και να είναι στη σωστή υποδοχή. Αλλιώς υπάρχει και η επιλογή του Optical, δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει, απλά γνωρίζω ότι η οπτική ίνα για τον ήχο έχει χαμηλό bandwidth και περνάει μόνο μέχρι Dolby Digital 5.1 που είναι συμπιεσμένος ήχος. Ενώ με το HDMI ARC έχω αρχεία που είναι Dolby Atmos 7.1 και η τηλεόραση τα αναγνωρίζει και παίζουν κανονικότατα στο Home Theater (σε 5.1 εννοείται - δεν ξέρω αν γίνεται downmix ή αν απλά αγνοεί τα δύο κανάλια).
Η καλύτερη σχέση απόδοσης - τιμής που υπάρχει (τα πήρα στα €229) για έτοιμο set 5.1 ήχου. Το παίρνετε με κλειστά τα μάτια αν είστε λάτρεις του κινηματογράφου!

Δεν ξέρω αν οφείλεται στο καλώδιο HDMI που έχω, αλλά μερικές φορές το Blu-ray είναι «ανυπάκουο» όταν στέλνω εντολή μέσω τηλεόρασης να συνδεθεί με ARC. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις γυρνούσε σε Optical και μουλάρωνε. Δυστυχώς το ARC αν και υποστηρίζεται, δεν έχει τρόπο να επιλεχθεί χειροκίνητα ως πηγή ήχου. Πήρα λοιπόν και ένα καλώδιο Optical και το έχω συνδεδεμένο και με Optical και με HDMI στην τηλεόραση, έτσι ώστε να μπορώ να το χειρίζομαι με το τηλεχειριστήριο της τηλεόρασης. Το Optical συνδέεται απροβλημάτιστα, μάλιστα μερικές φορές επιλέγω Optical και το Blu-ray συνδέεται με ARC (λες και με κοροϊδεύει, ένα πράμα) αλλά αφού έχω και τα δύο καλώδια, ούτε γάτα ούτε ζημιά. Όπως είπα και παραπάνω, μέσω Optical περνάει μόνο ήχος Dolby Digital (όχι DD+) ή AC3 μέχρι 48 kHz. Το καλό είναι ότι το Optical 5.1 λειτουργεί απροβλημάτιστα και με πλατφόρμες streaming όπως το Netflix και το Cinobo.

Ακόμα λειτουργεί στην εντέλεια! Και έκτοτε έχω αλλάξει τηλεόραση, η νέα που έχω έχει eARC. Αν και το Home Theater έχει κανονικό ARC, με τη συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση το ARC λειτουργεί τέλεια. Μόνο αν γίνει διακοπή ρεύματος οι δύο συσκευές χάνουν τη ζεύξη τους, αλλά με μία επανεκκίνηση του Home Theater, λειτουργεί πάλι τέλεια.
I had the HT805SH for many years, and 3 televisions, 2 Full HD Samsung and LG, and a new 4K Samsung, and it worked perfectly.
This one that I bought to replace it is more powerful and has better bass, but it has worse treble, the optical connection doesn't work with my 4K (it worked and works fine with the old one), and the HDMI ARC is annoying because you can't have sound from the TV at the same time as the home cinema and adjust the volume as you want, while before it worked perfectly.
Overall, a very annoying product, I almost regret buying it, it's lucky that I needed speakers otherwise I wouldn't even consider it.
If you're going to spend 300€, get an entry-level amplifier from Yamaha for example and a set of speakers and set up your own setup.
Ειχα το HT805SH για πολλα χρονια, και 3 τηλεοράσεις, 2 Full HD Samsung και Lg, και μια καινούρια 4K Samsung και δουλευε αψογα.
Αυτο εδω που πηρα να αντικαταστησω ειναι πιο δυνατο και εχει καλύτερο μπασο, αλλα εχει χειροτερα πριμα, η οπτικη συνδεση δεν δουλεύει με την 4Κ μου (στο παλιο δούλευε και δουλεύει κανονικα), και το hmdi arc ειναι ενοχλητικο γιατι δεν μπορεις να εχεις ηχο απο την TV ταυτόχρονα με το home cinema και να βαλεις οποίο θες σε οτι ενταση θες, ενω παλια μια χαρα γινοταν.
Γενικα πολυ ενοχλητικό προιον, σχεδόν μετανιωσα που το πηρα, εχε χαρη που χρειαστηκα κολονες ηχεια αλλιως ουτε που θα το σκέφτομουν.
Αν ειναι να δωσετε 300€, παρτε μια entry προταση ενισχυτη απο yamaha παράδειγμα και ενα σετ ηχειων και στηστε δικο σας setup.

When I connected it to the living room and tested a bluray movie (Lord of the Rings), I was simply thrilled. I use it every day whether I want to watch a movie (from a computer, USB, DVD) or YouTube. But when I connected it to the computer and played games (racing, shooter), I was blown away. I didn't connect it to the TV because I don't watch it. The negative aspect for me is the price. In the current evaluation phase, it costs 300 euros.

It is definitely not like the previous LG flagships, although in general the Home Cinema as we know it tends to be abolished objectively, however, it outperforms all soundbars even those with mid-range dolby atmos. The rear speakers are there and come into play! The Tweeters don't sound as I would like, but I give it 5 stars for the volume of sound and clarity even at max, you will definitely enjoy it. P.S. Do not pay more than 200€ P.S.2 I have my old lg home cinema bh7540tw which I still consider the best piece that lg has ever offered in our country and which indeed shakes the couch, the house, the building and the entire square as it has an extra Tweeter unit in each speaker.

Πιθανότατα να μην έχετε συνδέσει σωστά κάποιο καλώδιο από πίσω. Μου πήρε λίγη ώρα αλλά στο τέλος δούλεψαν όλα σωστά.

This specific home cinema is the second one from LG that I am using after the HX906PX (2012 model) which I enjoyed for the past 8 years. Although we are essentially talking about almost the same machine but in an advanced form, their difference is huge. The HX906PX had sound coming from the front (like all) and also from above with an extra speaker. This automatically turned the 5.1 into 9.1 with three-dimensional sound that filled the room. It even had a special button on the remote to choose 3D sound (music-movies) in addition to the classic presets (the only ones available on the LHB645N), which I never used because the sound was clearly inferior. It also had a very powerful subwoofer that made the couch literally shake. Unfortunately, the LHB645N does not have any of the above and the experience is disappointing. Tiny speakers, monotonous sound, without intensity and a mini... subwoofer that simply does not do the job it should. Of course, it is better than the TV speakers and that's why it seems super to many who have not heard anything else, but in no case is the sound it delivers satisfactory.
* Putting a second speaker on the rear surround that is fake and does not work but has been added as a decoration is nothing but a deception! Bravo to LG for the innovation...
* You should also know that LG provides spare parts for each of their machines for up to 5 years from their release. This specific home cinema is a 2017 model, so if something goes wrong after 2022, you will not be able to repair it.
Το συγκεκριμενο home cinema ειναι το 2ο της LG που χρησιμοποιω μετα το HX906PX (μοντελο του 2012) το οποιο απολαμβανα τα τελευταια 8 χρονια. Παρολο που στην ουσια μιλαμε για σχεδον ιδιο μηχανημα αλλα σε εξελιγμενη μορφη η διαφορα τους ειναι τεραστια. Το HX906PX σε καθε ηχειο (εκτος απο το κεντρικο) εβγαζε ηχο απο μπροστα (οπως ολα) αλλα και απο πανω με εξτρα ηχειο. Ετσι το 5.1 γινοταν αυτοματως 9.1 με τρισδιαστατο ηχο που γεμιζε το δωματιο. Ειχε μαλιστα ειδικο κουμπι στο remote ωστε να επιλεγεις 3D sound (music-movies) εκτος απο τα κλασσικα presets (τα μονα που διαθετει το LHB645N), τα οποια δεν χρησιμοποιησα ποτε γιατι ο ηχος ηταν σαφως κατωτερος. Διέθετε επισης ενα πανισχυρο subwoofer που εκανε τον καναπε να κουνιεται στην κυριολεξια. Δυστυχως το LHB645N δεν εχει τιποτα απο τα παραπανω και η εμπειρια ειναι απογοητευτικη. Μικροσκοπικα ηχεια, μονοδιαστατος ηχος, χωρις ενταση και mini... subwoofer το οποιο απλα δεν κανει την δουλεια που πρεπει. Φυσικα απο τα ηχεια της τηλεορασης ειναι καλυτερο και γι αυτο σε πολλους που δεν εχουν ακουσει κατι αλλο φαινεται super, σε καμια περιπτωση ομως δεν ειναι ικανοποιητικος ο ηχος που αποδιδει.
* Το να βαζεις 2ο ηχειο στα πισω surround το οποιο ειναι ψευτικο και δεν λειτουργει αλλα εχει μπει ως διακοσμητικό το λες και απατη! Μπραβο στην LG για την πρωτοπορια...
* Θα πρεπει επισης να γνωριζετε οτι η LG διαθετει ανταλλακτικα για καθε μηχανημα της μεχρι 5 χρονια απο την κυκλοφορια τους. Το συγκεκριμενο home cinema ειναι μοντελο του 2017 οποτε αν παθει κατι μετα το 2022 δεν θα μπορεσετε να το επιδιορθωσετε.
I bought the aforementioned product about 2 years ago at the discounted price of €199. Despite the low price, choosing the Samsung TV was a one-way street.
The home cinema simply rocks considering its price. Powerful sound, satisfactory bass, nice appearance, and plenty of settings. As for connectivity, you can connect via Bluetooth to any device to play sound, via HDMI ARC (as long as the TV supports it) to play the TV's sound, and via optical fiber. Regarding the speakers placed opposite the living room and next to the TV, NOTE that one of the 2 speakers is decorative, meaning it doesn't produce any sound. The bass is satisfactory (maybe not 100% clear). I highly recommend it as an option given its price. After 2 years of continuous use, I haven't noticed anything negative.
Αγόρασα το εν λόγω προϊόν πριν από περίπου 2 χρόνια στην προνομιακή τιμή των 199€. Παρότι η τηλεόραση Samsung εξαιτίας της χαμηλής τιμής η επιλογή ήταν μονόδρομος.
Το home cinema απλώς τα σπάει δεδομένου της τιμής του. Δυνατός ήχος, ικανοποιητικό μπάσο, όμορφο σε εμφάνιση κ αρκετές ρυθμίσεις. Σε ότι αφορά συνδεσιμότητες μπορείς συνδεθείς μέσω Bluetooth με οποιαδήποτε συσκευή προκειμένου να αναπαράξεις ήχο, μέσω hdmi arc(αρκεί να το υποστηρίζει και η tv) προκειμένου να μπορείς να αναπαράξεις ήχο της τηλεόρασης και μέσω οπτικής ίνας. Σε ότι αφορά τις κολόνες που τοποθετούνται αντικριστά από το σαλόνι και δίπλα από την τηλεόραση ΥΠΌΨΙΝ ότι το ένα εκ των 2 ηχείων που έχει είναι διακοσμητικό που σημαίνει ότι δεν βγάζει καθόλου ήχο. Το μπάσο είναι ικανοποιητικό (ίσως όχι 100% καθαρό). Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα σαν επιλογή δεδομένου των χρημάτων του. Έπειτα από 2 χρόνια συνεχούς χρήσης δεν έχω παρατηρήσει κάτι αρνητικό.
Very good Home Cinema! With the correct settings, you have proper 5.1 sound with HDMI ARC from your TV (I have Samsung).
I also tested the channels on YouTube, Netflix, and the browser with AAC-LC Channel ID (all on the TV) and everything is perfect!
The key is to make the correct Dolby settings on the audio system and the TV, and of course, the dB of each channel!
The speakers work for both the back and the front, wherever it suits each user! They have the same wattage and Ohm, so it doesn't affect the efficiency.

Εκανα και τεστ στα κανάλια, από youtube, από netflix και από τον browser με AAC-LC Channel ID ( όλα της τηλεόρασης) και είναι όλα αψογα!
Το παν είναι να κάνεις σωστές ρυθμίσεις dolby στο ηχοσύστημα και στην τηλεόραση και φυσικά στα db του κάθε καναλιού!
Οι κολώνες κάνουν και για πίσω και για μπροστά, όπου βολεύει τον κάθε χρήστη! είναι ίδια watt και ίδια Ohm όποτε δεν επηρεάζει την αποδοτικότητα.
I bought it and placed it in a small room.
I agree about the bass, it's not clear (it's loud, but not clear).. generally, the sub's cabinet doesn't impress you..
I have also tried a crystal audio casb240 2.1 system on the TV,
and compared to the bass of the LG home cinema, it falls behind.. and the fixed cable is too short to try changing its positions in the room.
As for the rest, the installation is very easy and the menu is very simple and easy to use, it flawlessly plays Blu-ray files from the hard drive that I have connected and also plays Ultra HD 5.1 from Netflix, it works perfectly.

I am updating the review after two months of use,
the issue that arose for me is that the ARC via HDMI does not work properly,
the ARC communication protocols of LG with Samsung TV (model from the second half of 2020) are probably not compatible..
Sometimes, the home cinema randomly loses the high-resolution 1080p setting and I have to readjust the maximum resolution,
sometimes the device freezes or doesn't turn on at all..
I changed 3 or 4 HDMI cables, tried different settings, but the problems persisted.
As soon as I turned off the ARC simplink from the home cinema and changed the port, everything worked correctly, but I lost the ability to control the sound with the TV remote..

το αγόρασα και τοποθετήθηκε σε μικρο δωμάτιο
θα συμφωνήσω και εγώ για το μπάσο, δεν είναι καθαρό (δυνατό είναι, καθαρό δεν είναι).. γενικά η καμπίνα του sub δεν σου γεμίζει το μάτι..
έχω δοκιμάσει και ένα σύστημα crystal audio casb240 2.1 στην τηλεόραση,
και συγκριτικά το μπάσο του lg home cinema υστερεί.. και το fix καλώδιο πολύ κοντό για να δοκιμάσω να του αλλάξω θέσεις στο δωμάτιο.
στα υπόλοιπα, η εγκατάσταση πανεύκολη και το μενού πολύ απλό και εύκολο, παίζει απροβλημάτιστα αρχεία blue ray από σκληρό δίσκο που έχω συνδέσει και με ultra hd 5.1 από netflix, τα πάει μια χαρά.
γενικά σε αυτή την λογική τιμή (250 με 300 ευρώ) είναι ένα τίμιο home cinema που αναβαθμίζει τις ταινίες
ανανεώνω την κριτική μετα απο ένα δίμηνο χρήσης,
το θέμα που προέκυψε σε μενα ειναι οτι, το arc μέσω hdmi δεν λειτουργεί σωστά,
τα πρωτοκολλα επικοινωνίας ARC του lg με samsung tv (μοντελο 2ο εξαμηνο του 2020) μαλλον δεν ειναι συμβατα..
το home cinema κάποιες φορες χανει την ρύθμιση υψηλης ανάλυσης 1080p ανεξήγητα και πρέπει να ξαναρυθμισω το μέγιστο της ανάλυσης,

μολις εκλεισα το ARC simplink απο το home cinema και αλλαξα θυρα, ολα δουλεύουν σωστά, αλλά έχασα την δυνατότητα να ελέγχω τον ηχο με το κοντρόλ της τηλεόρασης..

I bought this specific product 2 weeks ago from mediamarkt, which had it on sale for 229€. The home cinema is really powerful and worth every penny and more! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because unfortunately, on the second day that I turned up the volume to watch a movie, I noticed that the right speaker distorts at high volumes above 35-40%, which means that if you turn it up to 60 and above, it just screeches. And the problem is not there, the problem was with the customer service at mediamarkt, where I waited for 28 minutes on hold just to be given the wrong LG number to call and report my problem, even though I have a warranty. After finally finding the correct LG number after about ten minutes, I waited there for who knows how long to listen to all the LG messages. I decided to take the whole system with all the accessories to their store for them to check it, with an attitude as if I'm making things up, come on... that's enough to make you dizzy
Αγόρασα το συγκεκριμένο προιον πριν 2 εβδομάδες από την mediamarkt που το είχε προσφορά 229€ το homecinema πραγματικά είναι πολύ δυνατό και αξίζει τα χρήματα του με το παραπάνω!ο λόγος που έβαλα 4 και όχι 5 αστέρια είναι ότι δυστυχώς εμένα την 2η μέρα που έβαλα δυνατά το homecinema να δω ταινία παρατήρησα ότι η δεξιά κολώνα παραμορφώνει στις ψηλές φωνές σε ένταση πάνω απτό 35-40% που σημαίνει ότι αν το πας στο 60 και πάνω απλα τσιρίζει και δεν είναι το πρόβλημα εκεί το πρόβλημα το αντιμετώπισα στην εξυπηρέτηση της mediamarkt που περίμενα 28λεπτα στην αναμονή για να μου δώσουν λάθος αριθμό της lg για να πάρω να πω το πρόβλημα μου εφόσον έχω εγγύηση και αφού καταφερα μετά από κανα δεκάλεπτο να βρω το σωστο τηλ της lg και περίμενα και εκεί πόση ώρα να ακούσω όλα τα μηνύματα της lg μου είπα να τους το πάω στο κατάστημα τους όλο το σύστημα με όλα τα παρελκόμενα να το ελέγξουν με ύφος λες και κάτι σκαλώνω ελεος...αυτά σας ζαλισα

The Home Theater is amazing! In simple words, I have the volume at 35% and the house is shaking. It has a very good sound performance at high volumes and the bass... Let's just say I have lowered it to -2 and I still felt like the bombs were falling inside my house while watching Dunkirk.
Obviously, the quality of the file being played also matters, unless we're talking about Blu-ray. I have it connected to the 4k LG 55SM8600 only with HDMI. The HDMI ARC does its job perfectly if you set it up correctly, and it helps that they are the same brands. I play all my files through the TV and the sound has had no issues so far. It also comes with long cables for the rear speakers, which I think will be convenient for almost everyone.
The package does not include an HDMI cable, and if you want to use HDMI ARC, you will need to get a GOOD HDMI 1.4 (at least) cable and make sure your TV is compatible and in the right input. Otherwise, there is also the option of Optical, which I haven't tried, but I know that optical fiber for sound has a low bandwidth and only supports up to Dolby Digital 5.1, which is compressed sound. Meanwhile, with HDMI ARC, I have files that are Dolby Atmos 7.1 and the TV recognizes them and plays them perfectly on the Home Theater (in 5.1, of course - I don't know if it gets downmixed or simply ignores the two channels).
It is the best performance-price ratio available (I got it for €229) for a ready-made 5.1 sound set. You can get it with your eyes closed if you are a movie lover!
Update 14/11/2021:
I don't know if it's because of the HDMI cable I have, but sometimes the Blu-ray player is "unresponsive" when I send a command through the TV to connect via ARC. In these cases, it switches to Optical and there's no sound. Unfortunately, ARC, even though it is supported, cannot be manually selected as the sound source. So, I also got an Optical cable and have it connected both with Optical and HDMI to the TV, so I can control it with the TV remote. The Optical connection works flawlessly, and sometimes I choose Optical and the Blu-ray player connects via ARC (as if it's mocking me, really), but since I have both cables, no harm done. As I mentioned before, only Dolby Digital (not DD+) or AC3 audio up to 48 kHz passes through Optical. The good thing is that Optical 5.1 works perfectly with streaming platforms like Netflix and Cinobo.
Update 26/11/2024:
It still works perfectly! And since then, I have changed my TV, the new one I have has eARC. Although the Home Theater has regular ARC, it works perfectly with this particular TV. Only if there's a power outage, the two devices lose their connection, but with a restart of the Home Theater, it works perfectly again.
To Home Theater σπέρνει! Με απλά λόγια, έχω την ένταση στο 35% και γκρεμίζεται το σπίτι. Έχει πολύ καλή απόδοση ήχου σε μεγάλες εντάσεις και το μπάσο... Απλά θα πω ότι το έχω χαμηλώσει, είναι στο -2 και πάλι είδα το Dunkirk και νόμιζα ότι οι βόμβες έπεφταν μες στο σπίτι μου.
Προφανώς και παίζει ρόλο και η ποιότητα του αρχείου που θα αναπαράγει ο καθένας, αν δε μιλάμε για Blu-ray. Εγώ το έχω συνδεδεμένο στη 4k LG 55SM8600 μόνο με HDMI. Το HDMI ARC κάνει τέλεια τη δουλειά του αν το ρυθμίσεις σωστά, και βοηθάει που είναι και ίδιες μάρκες. Όλα μου τα αρχεία τα παίζω μέσω της τηλεόρασης και ο ήχος δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα ως τώρα. Έχει και μακριά καλώδια για τα πίσω ηχεία που νομίζω ότι θα βολέψουν σχεδόν τους πάντες.
Στη συσκευασία δεν περιέχεται καλώδιο HDMI, και αν θέλετε να χρησιμοποιήσετε HDMI ARC θα πρέπει να προμηθευτείτε ένα ΚΑΛΟ HDMI 1.4 (τουλάχιστον) καλώδιο και να είναι συμβατή η τηλεόρασή σας και να είναι στη σωστή υποδοχή. Αλλιώς υπάρχει και η επιλογή του Optical, δεν το έχω δοκιμάσει, απλά γνωρίζω ότι η οπτική ίνα για τον ήχο έχει χαμηλό bandwidth και περνάει μόνο μέχρι Dolby Digital 5.1 που είναι συμπιεσμένος ήχος. Ενώ με το HDMI ARC έχω αρχεία που είναι Dolby Atmos 7.1 και η τηλεόραση τα αναγνωρίζει και παίζουν κανονικότατα στο Home Theater (σε 5.1 εννοείται - δεν ξέρω αν γίνεται downmix ή αν απλά αγνοεί τα δύο κανάλια).
Η καλύτερη σχέση απόδοσης - τιμής που υπάρχει (τα πήρα στα €229) για έτοιμο set 5.1 ήχου. Το παίρνετε με κλειστά τα μάτια αν είστε λάτρεις του κινηματογράφου!

Δεν ξέρω αν οφείλεται στο καλώδιο HDMI που έχω, αλλά μερικές φορές το Blu-ray είναι «ανυπάκουο» όταν στέλνω εντολή μέσω τηλεόρασης να συνδεθεί με ARC. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις γυρνούσε σε Optical και μουλάρωνε. Δυστυχώς το ARC αν και υποστηρίζεται, δεν έχει τρόπο να επιλεχθεί χειροκίνητα ως πηγή ήχου. Πήρα λοιπόν και ένα καλώδιο Optical και το έχω συνδεδεμένο και με Optical και με HDMI στην τηλεόραση, έτσι ώστε να μπορώ να το χειρίζομαι με το τηλεχειριστήριο της τηλεόρασης. Το Optical συνδέεται απροβλημάτιστα, μάλιστα μερικές φορές επιλέγω Optical και το Blu-ray συνδέεται με ARC (λες και με κοροϊδεύει, ένα πράμα) αλλά αφού έχω και τα δύο καλώδια, ούτε γάτα ούτε ζημιά. Όπως είπα και παραπάνω, μέσω Optical περνάει μόνο ήχος Dolby Digital (όχι DD+) ή AC3 μέχρι 48 kHz. Το καλό είναι ότι το Optical 5.1 λειτουργεί απροβλημάτιστα και με πλατφόρμες streaming όπως το Netflix και το Cinobo.

Ακόμα λειτουργεί στην εντέλεια! Και έκτοτε έχω αλλάξει τηλεόραση, η νέα που έχω έχει eARC. Αν και το Home Theater έχει κανονικό ARC, με τη συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση το ARC λειτουργεί τέλεια. Μόνο αν γίνει διακοπή ρεύματος οι δύο συσκευές χάνουν τη ζεύξη τους, αλλά με μία επανεκκίνηση του Home Theater, λειτουργεί πάλι τέλεια.
I had the HT805SH for many years, and 3 televisions, 2 Full HD Samsung and LG, and a new 4K Samsung, and it worked perfectly.
This one that I bought to replace it is more powerful and has better bass, but it has worse treble, the optical connection doesn't work with my 4K (it worked and works fine with the old one), and the HDMI ARC is annoying because you can't have sound from the TV at the same time as the home cinema and adjust the volume as you want, while before it worked perfectly.
Overall, a very annoying product, I almost regret buying it, it's lucky that I needed speakers otherwise I wouldn't even consider it.
If you're going to spend 300€, get an entry-level amplifier from Yamaha for example and a set of speakers and set up your own setup.
Ειχα το HT805SH για πολλα χρονια, και 3 τηλεοράσεις, 2 Full HD Samsung και Lg, και μια καινούρια 4K Samsung και δουλευε αψογα.
Αυτο εδω που πηρα να αντικαταστησω ειναι πιο δυνατο και εχει καλύτερο μπασο, αλλα εχει χειροτερα πριμα, η οπτικη συνδεση δεν δουλεύει με την 4Κ μου (στο παλιο δούλευε και δουλεύει κανονικα), και το hmdi arc ειναι ενοχλητικο γιατι δεν μπορεις να εχεις ηχο απο την TV ταυτόχρονα με το home cinema και να βαλεις οποίο θες σε οτι ενταση θες, ενω παλια μια χαρα γινοταν.
Γενικα πολυ ενοχλητικό προιον, σχεδόν μετανιωσα που το πηρα, εχε χαρη που χρειαστηκα κολονες ηχεια αλλιως ουτε που θα το σκέφτομουν.
Αν ειναι να δωσετε 300€, παρτε μια entry προταση ενισχυτη απο yamaha παράδειγμα και ενα σετ ηχειων και στηστε δικο σας setup.

It constantly freezes, loses settings, and the TV (which is also LG) sends other signals but understands this, suddenly switches to OPTICAL, loses everything, and never reconnects unless I remove all HDMI cables and reset. There are definitely better solutions.

Κολλάει συνέχεια, χάνει τις ρυθμίσεις, άλλα στέλνει η TV (που είναι και αυτή LG) αλλα καταλαβαίνει αυτό, γυρνάει ξαφνικά σε OPTICAL χάνει τα πάντα και δεν ξανασυνδέεται ποτέ εκτός και αν βγάλω όλα τα HDMI και κάνω reset. Υπάρχουν σίγουρα καλύτερες λύσεις.
Buy at 249 euros, bad!!! It says 1000 watts but it's not even 100, the sound is like from a transistor radio from a Chinese store. You have to pray for Netflix & YouTube to load... it's a snail. I bought it for 100 euros from an acquaintance who was moving. It was a small risk since I hadn't seen it up close. When I connected it to the living room and tested a bluray movie (Lord of the Rings), I was simply thrilled. I use it every day whether I want to watch a movie (from a computer, USB, DVD) or YouTube. But when I connected it to the computer and played games (racing, shooter), I was blown away. I didn't connect it to the TV because I don't watch it. The negative aspect for me is the price. In the current evaluation phase, it costs 300 euros.
Το αγόρασα 100 ευρώ από γνωστό που μετακόμιζε. Ένα μικρό ρίσκο μιας και δεν το είχα ακούσει από κοντά. Όταν το σύνδεσα στο σαλόνι και έβαλα δοκιμαστικά μια bluray ταινία (άρχοντας των δαχτυλιδιών) απλά ξετρελάθηκα. Το δουλεύω κάθε μέρα είτε θέλω να δω ταινία (από υπολογιστή, usb, dvd) ή YouTube.. Αλλά όταν το σύνδεσα με τον υπολογιστή και έπαιξα παιχνίδια (racing, shooter) απογειώθηκα.. Με την τηλεόραση δεν το σύνδεσα γιατί δεν βλέπω. Αρνητικό για εμένα είναι η τιμή. Στη τρέχουσα φάση που κάνω αξιολόγηση κάνει 300 ευρώ.
It is definitely not like the previous LG flagships, although in general the Home Cinema as we know it tends to be abolished objectively, however, it outperforms all soundbars even those with mid-range dolby atmos. The rear speakers are there and come into play! The Tweeters don't sound as I would like, but I give it 5 stars for the volume of sound and clarity even at max, you will definitely enjoy it. P.S. Σίγουρα δεν είναι σαν τις προηγούμενες ναυαρχίδες της LG αν και γενικά τείνει να καταργηθεί το Home Cinema όπως το ξερουμε, αντικειμενικά όμως βάζει κάτω όλες τις ηχομπαρες ακόμα κι εκείνες που φέρουν dolby atmos μεσαίου κόστους. Τα πίσω ηχεία υπάρχουν και μπαίνουν στο παιχνίδι! Τα Tweeter δεν ακούγονται έτσι όπως θα ήθελα, όμως βάζω 5 αστέρια για τον όγκο του ήχου και την καθαρότητα ακόμα και στο max, σίγουρα θα το ευχαριστηθείτε. Υ.Γ. Μην δώσετε πάνω από 200€ Υ.Γ.2 έχω το παλιό μου lg home cinema bh7540tw το οποίο συνεχίζω να θεωρώ το καλύτερο κομμάτι που διέθεσε η lg τη χώρα μας πότε και το οποίο πράγματι κουνάει τον καναπέ το σπίτι την οικοδομή και το τετράγωνο όλο κι έχει σε κάθε ηχείο έξτρα μονάδα Tweeter.
