I have had it for about two years and I use it frequently for carving wood. With this specific type of sharpening (Scandinavian Grind), it is perfect for such tasks. It remains quite sharp even now. Many times I have used it to split branches by hitting the back of it with another piece of wood, and it always performs wonderfully.
