In general, for a Dj Controller to be considered "professional" and "high-quality", it must:

1. Have an "external" power supply! It is proven that Dj Controllers powered directly by electricity (via a transformer) do not present various problems (instability, sound "performance", etc.).

2. Have main outputs that are balanced (XLR or TRS)! It is proven that Dj Controllers with only unbalanced main outputs (RCA) cannot adequately drive a professional sound system (e.g. a bar or club).

3. Generally have the best possible integrated sound card, with a higher Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and a lower Distortion value! The more this condition is met, the "better" the respective Dj Controller is characterized in terms of its sound fidelity.

Specifically, this controller meets all three aforementioned requirements. It may not have the excellent sound fidelity of other controllers (such as the Pioneer SZ2), but for anyone looking for a "professional", "high-quality", and relatively small controller, this is the ONLY choice.

Furthermore, it is true that Pioneer's After Sale Support in Greece is not the best. Moreover, the market is flooded with imported devices, with all the negative consequences that entails if any controller has a problem after the first 14 days from the date of purchase (when the DOA - Defective on Arrival - replacement no longer applies).

But, let's face it, the "innovation", "durability", and button's feeling of Pioneer controllers cannot be found in other controllers, no matter how expensive they are...

Let me also share my experience after the issue I encountered with the console. I bought it on 07/12/2020. The first impression was something else coming from the SR. Nice appearance with the colors, powerful sound card, lightweight compared to the SR2. I was amazed from the first use I had at the store where I was playing. Very clean and powerful sound compared to the SR. Due to COVID-19, I managed to use it from the day I got it until October 28, 2020, which was the last night I played before the closure of the entertainment venues. So, approximately 4-5 months of use + 1-2 months after the reopening of the entertainment venues and music in early July 2021. During the 6 months of quarantine, I used it occasionally at home. So, one can understand that the console is basically brand new with such usage. It has never been dropped. Nothing has ever been spilled on it. I cleaned it every day from dust, etc. And of course, it was always kept in a case. Suddenly, one day during the summer (if I remember correctly, in July) while I was playing at the venue, the music abruptly stopped. The program and the console froze. I didn't do anything. The program continued to work (Serato Dj Pro), but the console was producing music with cuts. I won't go into much detail. It doesn't always happen. There are times when I play and nothing happens, and other times it happens 3-4 times in an hour. I changed versions in Serato. I upgraded my Mac. I changed drivers, I changed the USB cable. Nothing. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. So, the season started with my old console, the SR, with which I have no issues. The program doesn't freeze, nothing. And I've had it for 6 years. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the warranty paper to contact the company about the problem. Whoever I asked couldn't figure out what's wrong. I also took it to a friend of mine who works with consoles, etc. We opened it up and there was no trace of dust inside. It was as if I bought it that day. So, he told me to try another program and if it happens again, it's probably the circuit board. I don't know what I'll do. I'll probably go for a new one because without a warranty, there is no hope. I don't know if anyone else has a similar problem. However, another friend of mine who bought the same console has no issues with it. What can I say. Maybe I just got a defective one.

The console is very good, it has many things you can do and learn. I have had it for 1.5 years and it hasn't had any issues, I use it for designing daily. It's incredible, I would highly recommend it for both simple and professional use!!!

2 times problem on the board ... pioneer's service non-existent ... resulting in losing 2 seasons ... no negotiation from the company for warranty replacement goes without saying

Excellent quality, Pioneer, the best dual-channel in its category... Similar to the SX3, just in dual-channel format... Impressive variety of options it has... And I liked that it includes the Rane SL 2 as a built-in sound card, which is very important because it also supports DVS.
