For almost 3 years now, I have been suffering from eczema due to atopic dermatitis. I have tried many products from various companies! Among all of them, the products from Aderma (Pierre Fabre) and La Roche-Posay stand out!
They are quite effective in dealing with eczema and dry skin. These are exceptional products. Where Aderma's product excels is when there are rashes on my skin, which is quite common. In that case, the baume from Aderma does not cause any itching during application, unlike the baume from La Roche-Posay. The downside is that it smells bad.
Of course, at this point (I am now seeing an allergist and going for immunotherapy), the last thing that concerns me is whether the cream smells bad or not!
So, for those of you who have milder symptoms, go for a complete range of products from either one of these companies. Use a soap for atopic skin, a lotion (lait) after bathing, and a baume to improve your quality of life!
But for heaven's sake, if you still suffer from eczema despite using these products as a palliative treatment, in combination with corticosteroids, consult an allergist! This way, you can avoid cortisone and the like!
In any case, you will continue to use the above-mentioned products, simply for moisturizing your dry skin caused by atopic dermatitis!
