Not even tsipouro, it resembles plain gasoline more, not even 100 octane....

I thought that the best tsipouro without anise I had tasted was in Bulgaria with a light green color after another yellowish one in Skopje until I tried Agioneri and changed my mind. It is excellent.

Excellent "tsipouro". A glass with a little or no meze relaxes you, makes a nice "buzz"! And you won't overpay for it.

The strong alcohol sensation is overpowering, it ruins it, it doesn't "blend" well with its fragrance which is the only thing worth it.

If I tell you that I like it with food?
I don't consider it a simple tsipouro, of course, but it's also not like the other "aged" ones like the Dark Cave of the same brand.

I prefer it over whiskey

The name says it all. What else can we say. Equal to many European and non-European spirits. We all know grappa. It's time for the world to experience Agioneri. It's worth it.

Very good, it indeed has a soft taste, it is mildly aged as the barrel plays its role in the aromas and how long it can withstand aging. It cannot be compared to grappa, which is much rougher in taste, not to mention that it is rare to find aromatic tsipouro in bulk

I have drunk quite a few tsipouro, without anise which we refer to as "grappa" in the north. This particular one has a very round taste and it seems quite "mild", to the point that it can deceive you and make you think it is quite light, which is not true.
I have bought it 5-6 times and whenever I find it at a good price, I buy it again.

Now I will try 1-2 other aged ones, much more expensive than this one, I believe I will come back here, but we shall see!

There is no better grape distillate in this price category. Rich aromas, strong flavor, a real gem.

Honest. "Super dry" distillate. I wouldn't pair it with meze tsipouro, I prefer dried figs, chocolate, and strong/intense cheeses. Highly recommended!
