I use it to transfer the internet from the router 25 meters away and it seems to be working well so far, from my hundred I get around 25 to 30, it covers me so far, I recommend it although it is a bit expensive, it is huge, it is very big, it has perforated points and is ventilated and does not heat up like the 200 series heats up but much less, it is far better than the 300 series, I will also try the 500 series and will compare and will get back to you, this one is model 450 version 4 because I don't sleep on what the 200 and 300 series are, it is much better, I don't know if the 500 is even better, I will try it because I am interested in many meters in length, if someone wants it for inside the house for the apartment it is enough and the 300 series and the 200 I wouldn't recommend because they overheat too much and at times it goes out and disconnects. I WILL GET BACK AFTER A FEW DAYS, ITS RANGE IS ASTRONOMICAL, PLACED ON A BALCONY OF A 6-FLOOR APARTMENT BUILDING WITH WIFI HUNDRED, IT PROVIDES POWER AT 100 METERS!!!!! AT THE FIVE HERTZ FREQUENCY 25 AND AT 2.4 9 FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Very good for the money we spent. When there is a power outage, we have to set it up again. However, it is not something difficult. It meets our needs.

I had it for 5 years until one day after a power outage it just wouldn't turn on again. After the first year it stopped giving me internet and I had updated its firmware and then it worked flawlessly for the remaining 4 years. I would buy it again because TP-Link is an amazing company

When it works, it is good. But it has many disconnections. With the company, you can't get anywhere, and so I put it aside many years ago because I couldn't get anywhere with the service. (The courier costs are paid by the buyer). Now that I needed an extender again, I bought a Tenda and found my peace.

As a first impression, amazing. The router is on the upper floor and the PC is on the lower floor, and I wanted to set up a LAN on the PC because I have various devices that need Ethernet. The result (router < - wifi -> extender < - ethernet -> switch -> pc) gets 300mbit on the speed test, which is the same as the router's line. I am waiting to see how it performs in the future and will update the review.

A useless product is not worth buying.
As a two-year owner, it worked correctly for one month, then problems arose.
It did not give IP to devices connected to it until after a restart.
I did everything to make it work correctly (manual IP settings) but nothing.
It was recycled and replaced by another company's product at 1/3 of the price of the TP-Link, and I solved the problem!

In the past, I had a cheaper repeater from the same company (re200) and I wasn't very satisfied, it synchronized at around 35-45 mbps. This one is very fast, it synchronizes comfortably at 95+ of my 100 Mbps line and has a very good range. I am so satisfied that I bought a second one for the house in the village.

Problematic band at 5GHz. The mobile phone couldn't connect to the 5GHz wifi, and when the 5GHz band was active, the desktop computer connected via ethernet lost the network. The range is typical, like that of a 20-dollar device. The only reason to supposedly get it is for the 5GHz and gigabit ethernet, but they don't work.

It is approximately 5-6 meters away from the router, with 2 walls in front, and sometimes it catches but loses the ball and the ring turns red. I still haven't figured out what affects it. Then, there are another three meters of Ethernet cable connected to a desktop computer. The only problem I have is with my internet because I have windsimply fi, not a stable ADSL or VDSL line. I play Rocket League and my ping is fine, but sometimes I lose it and have packet loss...

Very good extender, but be careful. I ordered version 4 and received version 3. No one had version 4 when I ordered it (May '21). Ultimately, I decided to keep version 3 because the difference with version 4 (which is the support for Mesh networks) was not necessary for me.

I have had it in my room since the summer, I didn't have good internet before, now I have very good internet and it also works for ps4. I have connected it with lan and I don't have any problems anymore. It's my best purchase

If you want it for gaming, I don't recommend it at all, it lags a lot and the speeds it reaches are very slow

  • It has some disconnections, maybe it's the provider's fault. We are waiting for the fiber optic to see if we can get something better

Too many disconnections, after a year of operation it has become problematic! I have to unplug it twice a day and even when it's working, the speeds are simply bad, the company's support is non-existent. Look elsewhere because you will cry for your money as it is not cheap at all

Cheap and effective solution for increasing the range of Wi-Fi signal at home. Easy and quick installation, even for beginners, it has not had a single signal interruption so far. Highly recommended!!

Having used both, it bypassed it and invested in the RE550, which supports both mesh networks and has a greater range.

Very good product. Only a few times it has happened to me to disconnect. Within a working day, it disconnected once. Of course, it may not be its fault and my router might have frozen. Overall, for the day that I have been using it, it seems satisfactory for its price.

In the third quarter, it started shutting down on its own. It worked for a year and then stopped.

**UPDATE: I had received a defective one, the second one I got doesn't have any issues

Poor quality of the portable signal, stopped working after 1.5 years. It's better to look for another one.

Very good extender, but be careful. I ordered version 4 and received version 3. No one had version 4 when I ordered it (May '21). Ultimately, I decided to keep version 3 because the difference with version 4 (which is the support for Mesh networks) was not necessary for me.

  • Very good for the money we spent. When there is a power outage, we have to set it up again. However, it is not something difficult. It meets our needs.

  • It does exactly what it advertises and works perfectly, the price is a bit steep but when you shop for such things you get what you pay for.

  • In no case is it 100 meters as stated. 60 meters with just 1 bar at 2.4, so for an outdoor camera, you should expect 50 meters of perfect frequency. I hope I helped.

  • I had it for 5 years until one day after a power outage it just wouldn't turn on again. After the first year it stopped giving me internet and I had updated its firmware and then it worked flawlessly for the remaining 4 years. I would buy it again because TP-Link is an amazing company

  • When it works, it is good. But it has many disconnections. With the company, you can't get anywhere, and so I put it aside many years ago because I couldn't get anywhere with the service. (The courier costs are paid by the buyer). Now that I needed an extender again, I bought a Tenda and found my peace.
