    In the first use, the "ceramic" surface got scratched and it turned out to be painted aluminum! The area that holds the plates has cuts where the hairs get caught and break. I can't tell if it heats up properly because when you touch it, it burns, but when you pass the hair through, they come out cold... The plates don't grip the hair and you have to press the edges with the other hand, the locking switch moves very easily, so you constantly have to move it to be able to close the plate. Truly the worst purchase I have ever made.
