I preferred this model instead of the cheaper one from the same brand that had a plastic casing, but I have to admit that it is very heavy and therefore difficult to use. Also, due to its large width, it doesn't cut well in difficult areas. I hope it lasts at least half as long as my previous Viking - I had it for 22 years!!!!
