This brief study attempts with a new approach to identify and interpret the deeper reasons for Greece's crisis and failure as a member state in the European Union, to introduce the necessary reforms and adjustments required by its participation in it. This failure led to the multifaceted crisis of 2010 and the era of bailout programs (Memoranda).
The study identifies three fundamental, starting mistakes and five myths that prevailed and functioned as major obstacles in the adjustment process and which need to be overcome in order for the country to promote the reforms and adjustments necessary to become a normal member state of the European Union.
