Straight backs are healthy backs! The Kånken was released in 1978 to help prevent back problems observed in school-aged children in Sweden. Now, over 35 years later, Kånken has straightened millions of backs and has become one of Fjällräven's most popular products, loved by generations of users.

The Kånken No. 2 is made from durable, double-waxed G-1000 HeavyDuty with an internal back pocket made of G-1000 Lite. Just like its predecessor, it is a sturdy everyday backpack, equally practical for use on the way to school or work as it is when you're out on a trip or traveling.

The main compartment has a generous opening that makes packing and retrieving items easy. The back pocket features a seat cushion made from G-1000 HeavyDuty, so comfortable resting is never far away. There are two open side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front. Details and handles are made of leather, shoulder straps are made of fabric. The impregnation can easily be enhanced with Greenland Wax, which also further increases durability.
