  • Initially, because it is not just gin, it does not combine with anything, meaning you drink it neat or with ice. At first, when you smell it and taste it, indeed, as mentioned in comments, it hits the palate negatively like syrup with a very sweet taste, but not in a good way. Over time, the more often you drink it, in my case with ice, you get used to it more positively both in taste and aroma, to the point where I was enjoying it. It is strong, the aroma is subtle, and in taste, you can perceive the fruity notes more. With a normal swallow, it doesn't give you a headache. I haven't tried any pink ones from other brands, by the way.

Anyway, you can't compare it to a regular gin (it's intended for a different audience), but even so, the taste is very artificial, like syrup (I haven't tried Bosford and Beefeater, so I don't know if they are better)

Very sweet and at the same time very strong gin. It is also difficult to pair it with something.
