The QNap TS-253BE-2G is a desktop NAS with two bays for 2.5″ and 3.5″ HDDs or SSDs. The quad-core Intel Celeron J3455 runs at 1.5 GHz and reaches speeds of up to 2.3 GHz. It has 2 GB of RAM, expandable to 8 GB. It supports file, backup, media, print, FTP, cloud, VPN, and surveillance server functions.

The two Ethernet ports support speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, link aggregation, and failover, multi-IP, or port trunking configurations. Two HDMI outputs and five USB-A 3.2 ports let you connect peripherals, and a one-touch USB copy function is also available. The NAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, as well as Basic and JBOD, and includes a PCIe 2.0 x2 slot for an optional expansion card.
