With Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, you can create the course you've always dreamed of, as this game gives you all the tools you need to create 2D Super Mario courses exactly as you imagine them, with every detail, drawing graphics and mechanics from the four top Super Mario games - Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. U - that set the bar in their generations.

Create your course block-by-block as you wish, easily and quickly with simple settings on the touch screen and various tutorials. Learn design tips and tricks from Mary O. and Yamamura, and then share your masterpieces via StreetPass and local wireless connection.

Design your course on the touch screen of the Nintendo 3DS, or switch between Edit and Play to create and play the course simultaneously. Pick and place objects from the palette - such as enemies, obstacles, pipes, and more - to complete your course and play in the Super Mario Challenge to unlock all the palette items, or use the Effect Frog to place sound effects directly into the editor. Finally, switch and play in various classic environments such as ground, underground, haunted house, underwater, airship, or castle.
