Durostick has good products but has never been good at promotion, perhaps not even with instructions in some cases. So, this cleaner is just fine, but only when you figure out by yourself what to do with it. Personally, if the air conditioner does not have pieces of internal dirt that need to be detached and removed (in which case I use the toxic liquid available on the market and the appropriate equipment), but just stains and odor, then I turn off the power from the panel, remove the cover and the filters, and spray this liquid generously, mainly on the upper side of the coils, i.e., from the ceiling, and on the inner back behind them, so that gravity allows it to penetrate all the way through, reach the fan below, and drip into the internal tray. Following the instructions, I clean the filters, turn on the air conditioner, etc.
In any case, however, I check that the drainage pipe:
- is not clogged
- along its route to the end below, it has no upward slopes
- the end hangs without being below the water level of the drainage
- at the point where it ends there are no things that smell bad (e.g., as when the pipe ends in a diesel can or in a sewage pipe) because then these smells come into the air conditioner and enter the room.
Η Durostick έχει καλά προϊόντα αλλά ανέκαθεν δεν το είχε με την προώθηση, ίσως ούτε και με τις οδηγίες κατά περίπτωση. Έτσι και το καθαριστικό αυτό είναι μια χαρά, όμως όταν βρεις από μόνος σου τι να το κάνεις. Προσωπικά αν το κλιματιστικό δεν έχει κομμάτια εσωτερικής βρωμιάς που πρέπει να ξεκολλήσουν και να φύγουν ( οπότε χρησιμοποιώ το τοξικό υγρό που κυκλοφορεί στην αγορά και τον σχετικό εξοπλισμό ), αλλά απλώς λεκέδες και μυρωδιά, τότε κλείνω το ρεύμα στον πίνακα, βγάζω το κάλυμμα και τα φίλτρα, και ψεκάζω αυτό το υγρό μπόλικο, κυρίως στην πάνω πλευρά των κυψελών, δηλ από το ταβάνι, και στη μέσα πλάτη πίσω από αυτές, ώστε με τη βαρύτητα να εισχωρήσει σε όλο το βάθος, να φτάσει κάτω στον ανεμιστήρα και να στάζει στο εσωτερικό λεκανάκι. Ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες, καθαρίζω τα φίλτρα, ανάβω το κλιματιστικό κλπ.
Σε κάθε περίπτωση, πάντως, ελέγχω ότι ο σωλήνας της αποστράγγισης :
- δεν είναι βουλωμένος
- στη διαδρομή μέχρι την άκρη κάτω, δεν έχει σημεία με κλίσεις προς τα πάνω
- η άκρη κρέμεται χωρίς να είναι κάτω από τη στάθμη του νερού της αποστράγγισης
- στο σημείο όπου καταλήγει δεν υπάρχουν πράγματα που μυρίζουν άσχημα ( πχ όπως όταν ο σωλήνας καταλήγει μέσα σε μπιτόνι από πετρέλαιο ή σε σωλήνα αποχέτευσης ) γιατί τότε αυτές οι μυρωδιές έρχονται στο κλιματιστικό και μπαίνουν στον χώρο.

I sprayed the air conditioner with the spray following the instructions. The only thing the product managed to do was to scent the indoor unit. Absolutely nothing else! In my opinion, it is not an air conditioner cleaner. It is scented water and I don't know what else it contains, but it definitely doesn't remove dirt or mold from the indoor unit. Not at all. After getting tired of waiting to see results (which never came), I removed the front plastic covers of the unit and with a brush, water, and a little shampoo, I managed to clean the fins, blades, and fan casing by about 80%. Constantly rinsing with clean water. The dirt that came out was unbelievable! It should be noted that I have previous experience with a professional air conditioner cleaner, which, when diluted 1:50 in water, worked wonders. It left nothing behind. However, it was very toxic and I applied it while wearing a mask as the instructions recommended. I am amazed by the comments and by those who saw that this product is good! I really wonder! Did they even take a flashlight to illuminate the fan blade to see if it removed anything? Did they remove the plastic covers or at least the filters to see that this product is not capable of cleaning anything and simply adds a scent of cleanliness that undoubtedly comes from the fragrance it contains and nothing more? I wasted 6€ and another 5€ on gasoline to go and buy this nonsense since it was not available near my area.

Από την εν λόγω εταιρία ότι έχω αγοράσει έχει αποδειχθεί από μέτριο έως κακό προϊόν με μόνη εξαίρεση ένα εποξειδικό στόκο δύο συστατικών που πραγματικά ήταν πολύ καλός. Πάμε στο προκείμενο. Ψέκασα το κλιματιστικό με το σπρέι ακολουθώντας της οδηγίες. Το μόνο που κατάφερε το προϊόν είναι να αρωματίσει την εσωτερική μονάδα. Τίποτε άλλο απολύτως! Δεν είναι καθαριστικό κλιματιστικών κατά την άποψή μου. Είναι νεράκι με άρωμα και δεν ξέρω κι εγώ με τι άλλο μέσα που πάντως δεν αφαιρεί ούτε την βρωμιά ούτε τους μύκητες της εσωτερικής μονάδας. Ούτε κατ' ελάχιστον. Αφού βαρέθηκα να περιμένω να δω αποτέλεσμα (που ποτέ δεν ήλθε) αφαίρεσα τα μπροστινά πλαστικά καπάκια της μονάδας και με πινελάκι, νερό και λίγο σαμπουάν κατάφερα να καθαρίσω τα στοιχεία, τα πτερύγια και το κέλυφος του ανεμιστήρα κατά 80% περίπου. Ξεβγάζοντας συνεχώς με καθαρό νερό. Η βρωμιά που βγήκε ήταν απίστευτη! Να σημειωθεί πως έχω προηγούμενη εμπειρία από επαγγελματικό καθαριστικό εσωτερικής μονάδας κλιματιστικών, το οποίο με διάλυση 1:50 σε νερό, έκανε θαύματα. Δεν άφηνε τίποτε. Ήταν όμως πολύ τοξικό και το εφάρμοσα με μάσκα όπως προέτρεπαν οι οδηγίες. Απορώ με τα σχόλια και με αυτούς που είδαν πως το εν λόγω προϊόν είναι καλό! Πραγματικά απορώ! Πήραν άραγε ένα φακό να φωτίσουν την φτερωτή του ανεμιστήρα να δουν αν αφαίρεσε τίποτε; Έβγαλαν τα πλαστικά καπάκια ή έστω τα φίλτρα για να δουν ότι το προϊόν αυτό δεν είναι ικανό να καθαρίσει τίποτα και απλώς προσδίδει μια ευωδιά καθαριότητας που αναμφίβολα προέρχεται από άρωμα που περιέχει και από τίποτε περισσότερο; Πέταξα 6€ και 5€ ακόμη σε βενζίνη για να πάω να αγοράσω αυτή την σαχλαμάρα καθώς κοντά στην περιοχή μου δεν υπήρχε.

I read various "nice" things here that it's water and soap and it doesn't work, but still, I decided to try it since the price for the 5 liters is quite attractive. I cleaned 3 units in my house inside and out and it has done an excellent job. Especially on the filters of the living room that a technician couldn't clean 2 years ago, nor could I last year with the cleaner I was using. With this one, I got the job done. It's worth its money.

Καθάρισα 3 μονάδες στο σπίτι μου μέσα έξω και έχει κάνει εξαιρετική δουλειά. Ειδικά στα φίλτρα του σαλονιού που δεν είχε καταφέρει να καθαρίσει τεχνικός πριν 2 χρόνια ούτε εγώ πέρυσι με το καθαριστικό που χρησημοποιούσα. Με αυτό εδώ έκανα δουλειά. Αξίζει τα λεφτά του.
It does what they say. Of course, I don't use the machine much, just about 15 days in the summer when it's really hot, so it doesn't have a chance to smell like others claim.
Κάνει αυτό που λένε. Βέβαια εγώ δεν χρησιμοποιώ πολύ το μηχάνημα απλά μόνο καμία 15αριά μέρες το καλοκαίρι όταν έχει καύσωνα οπότε δεν έχει πού βρώμα όπως γράφουν οι άλλοι.
I use it twice a year on two 12-inch ones and it's great!! It smelled musty at some point and when I sprayed it, the smell went away. I should add that every month I clean the filters myself with lukewarm water and let them dry well. Everything is perfect!

From personal experience, I recommend:
For rooms, cleaning once every 6 months is sufficient.
For the 24, which I have in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (open space), cleaning once every 4 months keeps it always clean and gives you a feeling of freshness. We do not smoke in this area, but if we did, it might need to be cleaned every 3 months.
Because I read various comments, it is not possible to achieve results with just one cleaning per year in spaces with strong odors (such as the kitchen) from gas or cigarettes. So many layers of dirt are created that are not easily cleaned.
Many people use strong cleaners, but these can damage the plastic of the air conditioner and anything that sticks to it cannot be removed.

Από προσωπική εμπειρία προτείνω:
Στα δωμάτια καθαρισμός μια φορά κάθε 6 μήνες είναι αρκετή.
Στο 24αρι που έχω σε σαλόνι τραπεζαρία και κουζίνα (ενιαίος χώρος) μια φορά κάθε 4 μήνες για να μένει πάντα καθαρό και να σου δίνει την αίσθηση της φρεσκάδας. Στον χώρο αυτό δεν καπνίζουμε, αν καπνίζαμε ίσως να χρειαζόταν κάθε 3 μήνες.
Επειδή διαβάζω διάφορα σχόλια, δεν γίνεται σε χώρους που υπάρχουν μυρωδιές (κουζίνα) πολύ καυσαέριο ή τσιγάρο, να θέλετε να έχετε αποτέλεσμα με έναν καθαρισμό το χρόνο. Δημιουργούνται τόσα πολλά στρώματα βρωμιάς που δεν καθαρίζονται εύκολα.
Πολλοί βάζουν ισχυρά καθαριστικά, όμως αυτά καίνε τα πλαστικά του κλιματιστικού και με αυτόν τον τρόπο δημιουργούν ανεπανόρθωτη ζημιά καθώς ότι κολλήσει από εκεί και πέρα δεν φεύγει με τίποτα.
It does what it says. It needs to be used 2-3 times in a row for persistent odors. It is important for the air conditioner to operate in cool mode for a while after applying the cleaner.
Κάνει ότι λέει. Χρειάζεται να χρησιμοποιηθεί 2-3 φορές συνεχόμενα σε επίμονες μυρωδιές. Σημαντικό να λειτουργήσει το κλιματιστικό στο cool για λίγη ώρα μετά την εφαρμογή του καθαριστικού.
Very nice scent... and that's where the positives stop... it's a soap with a nice fragrance... unfortunately it doesn't clean properly... at least not as easily and effortlessly (as the company itself advertises)... it's a pity because I have good experience with durostick

I cleaned 3 air conditioners (indoor units), one 24,000 BTU and two 9,000 BTU, and there was still 1/4 left for future use. It cleans well and effectively removes odors and dirt. Before use, I sprayed with water from a sprayer, then with the cleaner, and after 5 minutes I passed again with water.

I used it at the beginning of the summer. I sprayed the coils and the fan and then turned on the air conditioner to cool for at least 30 minutes with windows and balcony doors open. Of course, you need a bag for the water. You take a bag of carpets, 65 minutes with dimensions of 0.5x5 meters (for 9 or 12 units), you connect them with adhesive tape after cutting them in the correct proportion and stick them around the air conditioner. The water that falls should end up in a bucket, and all this is to avoid dirtying the walls and floor. You also need a special brush for the fan because some dirt is stuck on the fan and does not come off easily with water. Maybe a stronger sprayer is needed to remove the most difficult dirt, but it requires caution. And that's how proper amateur cleaning is done. Some professionals go to houses and spray the cells with medicine without washing them with a sprayer and ask for 15 or 20 euros.

In the end, I ended up cleaning once a year with a sprayer with plain water without adding any other products.
Καλό προϊόν. Βέβαια για να γίνει σωστός καθαρισμός πρέπει να έχουμε κ ένα ψεκαστήρα με πεπιεσμένο νερό με το οποίο θα ψεκάσουμε τις κυψέλες καθώς και τη φτερωτή.Βεβαια χρειάζεται σακούλα για τα νερά. Παίρνεις μια σακούλα χαλιών 65 λεπτά με διαστάσεις 0,5Χ5 μετρα (για 9 ή 12 άρια), τις ενώνεις με ζελοτειπ αφού τις κόψεις στη σωστή αναλογία κ τις κολλας γύρω από το κλιματιστικό. Το νερό που πέφτει πρέπει να καταλήγει σε κουβά και όλο αυτό για να μην λερώνεις τοίχους κ πατωμα.Χρειαζεται κ ένα ειδικό βουρτσακι για τη φτερωτή διότι κάποιες βρώμιες έχουν κολλήσει στη φτερωτή κ δεν φεύγουν εύκολα με το νερο.Ισως χρειάζεται ποιο δυνατό ψεκαστήρα για να φύγουν οι πιο δύσκολες βρωμιες αλλά θέλει προσοχη.Κ έτσι θα γίνει σωστός ερασιτεχνικός καθαρισμός. Πηγαίνουν κάποιοι επαγγελματίες σε σπίτια κ ψεκάζουν λίγο τις κυψέλες με φάρμακο χωρίς πλύσιμο με ψεκαστήρα κ ζητάνε 15 ή 20 ευρώ.

Τελικά κατέληξα να καθαρίζω κάθε χρόνο μια φορά με ψεκαστήρα με σκέτο νερό χωρίς τη προσθήκη άλλων προϊόντων.
I chose it because of the positive reviews and I didn't regret it!
It eliminated the smell of mold and cleaned the filters and unit very well!
Just one observation, I have heard that they destroy the plastics.
So, after use, it is good to wipe the plastics so they don't get damaged.
During professional maintenance, they remove them completely, but they use a bag, that's why they don't break.

Οπότε, μετά τη χρήση καλό είναι να σκουπίσετε τα πλαστικά μην καταστραφουν.
Σε μια επαγγελματική συντήρηση τα βγάζουν τελείως, αλλα χρησιμοποιούν σακούλα, γιαυτό και δεν χαλάνε.

Very good!! It cleans without bothering you with scrubbing on the plastics. Durostick has good products but has never been good at promotion, perhaps not even with instructions in some cases. So, this cleaner is just fine, but only when you figure out by yourself what to do with it. Personally, if the air conditioner does not have pieces of internal dirt that need to be detached and removed (in which case I use the toxic liquid available on the market and the appropriate equipment), but just stains and odor, then I turn off the power from the panel, remove the cover and the filters, and spray this liquid generously, mainly on the upper side of the coils, i.e., from the ceiling, and on the inner back behind them, so that gravity allows it to penetrate all the way through, reach the fan below, and drip into the internal tray. Following the instructions, I clean the filters, turn on the air conditioner, etc.
In any case, however, I check that the drainage pipe:
- is not clogged
- along its route to the end below, it has no upward slopes
- the end hangs without being below the water level of the drainage
- at the point where it ends there are no things that smell bad (e.g., as when the pipe ends in a diesel can or in a sewage pipe) because then these smells come into the air conditioner and enter the room.
Η Durostick έχει καλά προϊόντα αλλά ανέκαθεν δεν το είχε με την προώθηση, ίσως ούτε και με τις οδηγίες κατά περίπτωση. Έτσι και το καθαριστικό αυτό είναι μια χαρά, όμως όταν βρεις από μόνος σου τι να το κάνεις. Προσωπικά αν το κλιματιστικό δεν έχει κομμάτια εσωτερικής βρωμιάς που πρέπει να ξεκολλήσουν και να φύγουν ( οπότε χρησιμοποιώ το τοξικό υγρό που κυκλοφορεί στην αγορά και τον σχετικό εξοπλισμό ), αλλά απλώς λεκέδες και μυρωδιά, τότε κλείνω το ρεύμα στον πίνακα, βγάζω το κάλυμμα και τα φίλτρα, και ψεκάζω αυτό το υγρό μπόλικο, κυρίως στην πάνω πλευρά των κυψελών, δηλ από το ταβάνι, και στη μέσα πλάτη πίσω από αυτές, ώστε με τη βαρύτητα να εισχωρήσει σε όλο το βάθος, να φτάσει κάτω στον ανεμιστήρα και να στάζει στο εσωτερικό λεκανάκι. Ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες, καθαρίζω τα φίλτρα, ανάβω το κλιματιστικό κλπ.
Σε κάθε περίπτωση, πάντως, ελέγχω ότι ο σωλήνας της αποστράγγισης :
- δεν είναι βουλωμένος
- στη διαδρομή μέχρι την άκρη κάτω, δεν έχει σημεία με κλίσεις προς τα πάνω
- η άκρη κρέμεται χωρίς να είναι κάτω από τη στάθμη του νερού της αποστράγγισης
- στο σημείο όπου καταλήγει δεν υπάρχουν πράγματα που μυρίζουν άσχημα ( πχ όπως όταν ο σωλήνας καταλήγει μέσα σε μπιτόνι από πετρέλαιο ή σε σωλήνα αποχέτευσης ) γιατί τότε αυτές οι μυρωδιές έρχονται στο κλιματιστικό και μπαίνουν στον χώρο.

Ψέκασα το κλιματιστικό με το σπρέι ακολουθώντας της οδηγίες. Το μόνο που κατάφερε το προϊόν είναι να αρωματίσει την εσωτερική μονάδα. Τίποτε άλλο απολύτως! Δεν είναι καθαριστικό κλιματιστικών κατά την άποψή μου. Είναι νεράκι με άρωμα και δεν ξέρω κι εγώ με τι άλλο μέσα που πάντως δεν αφαιρεί ούτε την βρωμιά ούτε τους μύκητες της εσωτερικής μονάδας. Ούτε κατ' ελάχιστον. Αφού βαρέθηκα να περιμένω να δω αποτέλεσμα (που ποτέ δεν ήλθε) αφαίρεσα τα μπροστινά πλαστικά καπάκια της μονάδας και με πινελάκι, νερό και λίγο σαμπουάν κατάφερα να καθαρίσω τα στοιχεία, τα πτερύγια και το κέλυφος του ανεμιστήρα κατά 80% περίπου. Ξεβγάζοντας συνεχώς με καθαρό νερό. Η βρωμιά που βγήκε ήταν απίστευτη! Να σημειωθεί πως έχω προηγούμενη εμπειρία από επαγγελματικό καθαριστικό εσωτερικής μονάδας κλιματιστικών, το οποίο με διάλυση 1:50 σε νερό, έκανε θαύματα. Δεν άφηνε τίποτε. Ήταν όμως πολύ τοξικό και το εφάρμοσα με μάσκα όπως προέτρεπαν οι οδηγίες. Απορώ με τα σχόλια και με αυτούς που είδαν πως το εν λόγω προϊόν είναι καλό! Πραγματικά απορώ! Πήραν άραγε ένα φακό να φωτίσουν την φτερωτή του ανεμιστήρα να δουν αν αφαίρεσε τίποτε; Έβγαλαν τα πλαστικά καπάκια ή έστω τα φίλτρα για να δουν ότι το προϊόν αυτό δεν είναι ικανό να καθαρίσει τίποτα και απλώς προσδίδει μια ευωδιά καθαριότητας που αναμφίβολα προέρχεται από άρωμα που περιέχει και από τίποτε περισσότερο; Πέταξα 6€ και 5€ ακόμη σε βενζίνη για να πάω να αγοράσω αυτή την σαχλαμάρα καθώς κοντά στην περιοχή μου δεν υπήρχε.

Nothing, a simple common cleaner. You won't see any difference, and no smell, neither pleasant nor unpleasant. It doesn't have any amazing cleaning performance. I wouldn't buy it again.

I read various "nice" things here that it's water and soap and it doesn't work, but still, I decided to try it since the price for the 5 liters is quite attractive. I cleaned 3 units in my house inside and out and it has done an excellent job. Especially on the filters of the living room that a technician couldn't clean 2 years ago, nor could I last year with the cleaner I was using. With this one, I got the job done. It's worth its money.

Στα δωμάτια καθαρισμός μια φορά κάθε 6 μήνες είναι αρκετή.
Στο 24αρι που έχω σε σαλόνι τραπεζαρία και κουζίνα (ενιαίος χώρος) μια φορά κάθε 4 μήνες για να μένει πάντα καθαρό και να σου δίνει την αίσθηση της φρεσκάδας. Στον χώρο αυτό δεν καπνίζουμε, αν καπνίζαμε ίσως να χρειαζόταν κάθε 3 μήνες.
Επειδή διαβάζω διάφορα σχόλια, δεν γίνεται σε χώρους που υπάρχουν μυρωδιές (κουζίνα) πολύ καυσαέριο ή τσιγάρο, να θέλετε να έχετε αποτέλεσμα με έναν καθαρισμό το χρόνο. Δημιουργούνται τόσα πολλά στρώματα βρωμιάς που δεν καθαρίζονται εύκολα.
Πολλοί βάζουν ισχυρά καθαριστικά, όμως αυτά καίνε τα πλαστικά του κλιματιστικού και με αυτόν τον τρόπο δημιουργούν ανεπανόρθωτη ζημιά καθώς ότι κολλήσει από εκεί και πέρα δεν φεύγει με τίποτα.

The water that falls should end up in a bucket, and all this is to avoid dirtying the walls and floor. You also need a special brush for the fan because some dirt is stuck on the fan and does not come off easily with water. Maybe a stronger sprayer is needed to remove the most difficult dirt, but it requires caution. And that's how proper amateur cleaning is done. Some professionals go to houses and spray the cells with medicine without washing them with a sprayer and ask for 15 or 20 euros.

In the end, I ended up cleaning once a year with a sprayer with plain water without adding any other products.
Καλό προϊόν. Βέβαια για να γίνει σωστός καθαρισμός πρέπει να έχουμε κ ένα ψεκαστήρα με πεπιεσμένο νερό με το οποίο θα ψεκάσουμε τις κυψέλες καθώς και τη φτερωτή.Βεβαια χρειάζεται σακούλα για τα νερά. Παίρνεις μια σακούλα χαλιών 65 λεπτά με διαστάσεις 0,5Χ5 μετρα (για 9 ή 12 άρια), τις ενώνεις με ζελοτειπ αφού τις κόψεις στη σωστή αναλογία κ τις κολλας γύρω από το κλιματιστικό. Το νερό που πέφτει πρέπει να καταλήγει σε κουβά και όλο αυτό για να μην λερώνεις τοίχους κ πατωμα.Χρειαζεται κ ένα ειδικό βουρτσακι για τη φτερωτή διότι κάποιες βρώμιες έχουν κολλήσει στη φτερωτή κ δεν φεύγουν εύκολα με το νερο.Ισως χρειάζεται ποιο δυνατό ψεκαστήρα για να φύγουν οι πιο δύσκολες βρωμιες αλλά θέλει προσοχη.Κ έτσι θα γίνει σωστός ερασιτεχνικός καθαρισμός. Πηγαίνουν κάποιοι επαγγελματίες σε σπίτια κ ψεκάζουν λίγο τις κυψέλες με φάρμακο χωρίς πλύσιμο με ψεκαστήρα κ ζητάνε 15 ή 20 ευρώ.

Τελικά κατέληξα να καθαρίζω κάθε χρόνο μια φορά με ψεκαστήρα με σκέτο νερό χωρίς τη προσθήκη άλλων προϊόντων.

It eliminated the smell of mold and cleaned the filters and unit very well!
Just one observation, I have heard that they destroy the plastics.
So, after use, it is good to wipe the plastics so they don't get damaged.
