I don't know why, but Cougar manufactures the USB cable with soft plastic that has tremendous friction with the desk compared to other mice I've had. Maybe that's why we should also buy the Gougar mouse bungee!

There are three tricks that you may not know, so you don't have to pay extra money.
    1) We patiently wrap a thin polyester thread (that is resistant to wear) around the cable at the points where there is friction. It takes 5-6 hours of work, always holding the spool in your hands while wrapping.

    2) Change the USB cable to a braided one (e.g. the Durable Nylon Braided Line USB Mouse Cable Wire For Razer DeathAdder Elite Wired should be compatible).

    3) Secure the cable by attaching it to the mousepad with a clip that can be found in bookstores. If the cable comes from the front, attach the clip to the screen.
    https://ibb.co/7jgzRS7

This way, we save space on our desk without using a mouse bungee.

The mouse has rubber underneath for grip. In some mousepads, it may "stick" and create a lot of resistance. So, I bought the Cougar Speed 2 mousepad to pair with it, and now everything works fine. In fact, the mouse's user manual states, "To achieve optimal performance, it is highly recommended that you use this product with Cougar mouse pads."

Very high DPIs above 2,500 may never be needed, especially if we don't have a 4K monitor.

The switches are Omron, and replacements are easily available if they break (the 20M and 50 Million clicks switches fit the board).

    P.S.:
I deducted two stars because even before I had it for a long time, the left button started double-clicking constantly. Also, the side plastic rubber is attached with cheap glue that sticks to the hand in one spot when it gets hot and needs to be wiped off. The switches are indeed Omron, but they are Chinese, not Japanese, which is why they break easily. I managed to fix the double-clicking issue with the help of the following two videos and some anti-corrosion oil, without using isopropyl alcohol or bending the copper leaf, as it was not necessary:

There are now mice available (such as the Razer Viper and the A4Tech Bloody Blazing A90) that have optical switches:

Very underrated company. Its mice are worth more. In this particular one, it has a very soft click, perfect for us MOBA players who want the hero to go to a point and continuously click until they reach it :P

Seriously now, it's a great mouse. It looks like the deathadder in shape only, but the cougar is much better. And the grips, simply magical.
