I put in the 5W40.
Very good and economical oil.
I put it in to keep it for around 1000 km, until it was time for the regular service.
I did this because in a previous oil change they put in whatever oil they wanted, and I wanted to flush the engine.
The car is a Suzuki SX-4 2007 107Hp with 125,000 km.
It doesn't burn a drop of oil.
Attention. In Valvoline's specs, the company says that the 5W40 is full synthetic
while the 10W40 is semi-synthetic.
With this oil I have a very quiet engine and responsiveness, just like with Motul 8100 Xcess, but at a very good price and also from a reliable manufacturer.
As I said, I won't keep it for long, but I will update on how black it comes out!

In a 2007 Toyota Prius Gen 2 with 387,000 km and oil consumption of 800 ml per 1,000 km (using branded 10W40 oils), over a sample of 5,000 km the oil consumption has been reduced by about 65% without any increase in fuel consumption and without (so far at least) any mechanical problem or strange noise. Every car is different for sure, but for me so far it seems to work excellently and I would definitely recommend that someone with a well-maintained car that burns oil give it a try!

This oil does a very good job in rejuvenating the seals on the one hand and cleaning the engine on the other. At the same time, it provides good protection under any condition. Personally, I use it for several kilometers for a period (about 2000km) so that it benefits the engine and then I continue with another oil. So instead of using various cleaners, etc., I recommend this oil precisely to freshen up an engine that has some mileage. In my opinion, it is an honest oil and a solid choice, especially for tired engines.

Fiat Bravo 1.2 1999 with 156,000 burns a little oil like an Italian. The Motul 4100 drank it like water, the Petronas 800 was better, in the first thousand km I topped up 150+ml so consumption is about the same, the only positive is that I hear the engine softer and quieter. I will use it one more time and if I am not satisfied I see myself going back to the expensive for my pocket Selenia Gold.

The oil is very durable and behaves like a fully synthetic in my BMW 316 E46 where I use it. Of course, it is "BMW Special" oil and I change it at most every 10,000 kilometers, but the engine runs with the same sound as with the very expensive lubricants I used to use. In general, it reduces consumption when it is due to seals, but if it is due to rings like in my case, don't expect much. I would say use it without fear if it suits your car with high mileage. It is a very good and cheap lubricant and cleans the engine very well, since after some kilometers it turns black (a very good sign that it removes things from inside the engine). One warning: When it approaches 10,000 kilometers, it gets very thin! That is, it burns at up to three times the rate after 8,000 kilometers. If your car also works with thinner oils than 10w40, no problem. If you absolutely want 10w40, then change it at 7,500 kilometers.

An economical 5w30 oil, I use it in a Golf 4 1.6 16v that has just been repaired with a rebuilt engine, new pistons, etc. The oil gets darker, which means it cleans the engine, I did a change at 2000 km and now I continue every 10000, no oil consumption was observed.

Excellent oil, I put it in a Golf 4 1.4 with 374,000km and the consumption noticeably decreased. I highly recommend it.

Indeed, the car really burns less oil with this specific one, it's the second time I buy it and the oil consumption from the engine has truly decreased. I use it in a Mitsubishi Lancer 1300cc carburetor 1991 model, from now on I will always use this, the engine runs very nicely. 4 stars and not 5 because of its price, if it were cheaper I would give 5, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and this is true with this particular oil.

I have had them for 3 months now and so far they are fine, the engine runs smoothly, it doesn't burn/lose oil, so I will prefer them again. The car I installed them in is a Nissan pickup D22 4x4 with the TD25Ti engine

One of the best companies, but something I don't like. I would prefer more for gear oils rather than for motor oils.

I have reviewed it again. Very good lubricant for older engines. In 316i E46 it is considered "BMW Special Oil" so it needs to be changed at most every 10000km but if you have oil consumption, this doesn't bother you. It has improved oil consumption although those of you who check oil from below, like me, will not see miracles. Very good quality lubricant anyway and I highly recommend it.

It was used in a 2004 Panda and the engine sound was significantly improved. I will inform you about fuel consumption in due time.

Great difference in oil consumption.
In an Opel Vectra C from 2002 that was burning 1 liter every 2,500 kilometers, with these oils it burns 300 ml in 2,500 kilometers. Big difference. It definitely doesn't work miracles, but the difference is noticeable. Don't use oils recommended by the workshop because they have them there and they profit from them. Consult with a mechanic and use oils that are suitable for the engine.

I come back after a month to remove one star as I realized that it's not as max life as it claims. Over time, at 3,500 kilometers, it burned 1 liter. I'm not saying it's the oil's fault. The car burns oil, it just doesn't have the endurance it had initially.

To write a review about this specific lubricant, I cannot do so without a prior chemical analysis. My opinion would be purely subjective and unsupported, based solely on what I observed or believe I observed. The only thing that can easily be noticed is the oil consumption, which does not make a lubricant better or worse than another, or the color, which, however, does not indicate anything about the quality.

The reason I chose it was because I wanted to try something different and mainly to take advantage of any additives that preserve the rubber seals, as the vehicle is now 30 years old and has covered quite a few kilometers. If I had a newer vehicle, I would probably choose a different product that would have better indicators on paper (from the pds files available on websites, one can easily see indicators such as vi, tbn, etc.).

Excellent oil for LPG according to its specifications. I put it from the beginning in a 1.6 AHL engine in a 1998 PASSAT B5 after a rebuild (248,000 km). After 3,500 km, it hasn't burned a drop, and it hasn't blackened much. I have already ordered the next 4 liters for the change at 5,000 km. I won't leave it longer to keep the engine brand new. :)

A good oil for 10w40. It was a decent choice for the money in a jimny. The smoother engine operation (probably due to the oil change) will be evident in the next change.

I bought the oil based on the comments I read, and it really lived up to what they said. I put it in my 2002 car with 208,000 kilometers and it was burning quite a bit of oil. Since I put this oil in, nothing terrible happened. It's an amazing oil for old, high mileage engines. You can trust it blindly.

Very good oil, I have been using it for years in a Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v '03 with 235,000km, and I am very satisfied. I recommend it!

It was installed in an Alfa Romeo 147 with 225,000km. After 1500km, I noticed a significant decrease in oil consumption. I will definitely choose it again!

Very good oil for 10w40 and it does some work on old engines. I can't say that it doesn't burn enough if you have an issue with springs, but with the price it has, if it doesn't consume a liter at 2000km, you're okay with this oil. Generally, I use it in an E46 BMW and I keep it for 8-10 thousand maximum since it is theoretically "Special BMW Oil" spec.

Very good oil. I use it in my Jimny. 230,000 km and it doesn't burn oil with Valvoline. I have tried other oils, even more expensive ones. It is amazing.

The oil was changed, after my mechanic encouraged me to switch to 10w40, in my Micra K12 with high mileage but no oil burning. I can't say if it protected the engine better. However, what I did notice was a significant increase in engine noise. Especially when the RPMs increased, the car was very loud. I switched back to 5w40 and the car regained its previous behavior, just like its mother.

It helps incredibly with oil consumption and engine cleaning due to the many detergents it contains in its composition.
I put it in a Hyundai Getz that was burning 600ml of oil every 5000km.
As a result, now I have driven 5000km and it has only burned 100ml

I found on the internet a list of tests for many different types and brands of lubricants. As strange as it may seem to some who resort to expensive oils, this specific oil, as well as Valvoline Durablend 10w-40 and Total 10W-40 Quartz 7000, are among the top ones. I have tried both of them on a 1.8 16V atmospheric engine and I was truly impressed. My car doesn't burn a drop of oil and the engine is very quiet. I change oils twice a year (once when the weather starts getting warm in May and once when it starts getting cold in November, regardless of mileage (of course, I don't exceed 10,000 kilometers per six months). Those who I also recommended these lubricants to were completely satisfied.

There are no words for how great this oil is, it is the best oil for high mileage cars. The engine noise is smoother and overall the car's behavior has changed. I highly recommend it.
