For about 15 Euros, you can get a 128GB USB stick that is not particularly slow, has a decent amount of space, and is reliable as a brand.
I noticed reviews mentioning instability in maintaining speed, and they are partially correct.
From my experimentation, it depends on 2-3 factors that are not always ideal conditions.
1) If you have many small files, it will not increase the speed because it won't be able to keep up due to the volume and number.
2) If you plug it into a USB hub alone, without other devices on the same branch, there is a noticeable difference in large files, and it can reach a good speed, but nothing extraordinary. If you have it in the same USB array with multiple devices, it shares the bandwidth and the transfer speed decreases. Also, there may not be sufficient power distribution for devices in the free ports. Just keep in mind!
3) I also noticed slight differences depending on the drivers for the USB ports, depending on the chipset manufacturer of the motherboard! Generic drivers may indeed play it safer and be based on compatibility!
Για 15 Ε περιπου περνεις 128gb στικακι που δεν ειναι ιδιαιτερα αργο, εχει καμποσο χωρο και ειναι αξιοπιστο σαν μαρκα.
Παρατηρησα αξιολογησεις που λενε για ασταθεια στην διατηρηση της ταχυτητας και εχουν εν μερει δικιο.
Απο οσο πειραματιστηκα εξαρταται απο 2-3 παραγοντες που δεν ειναι παντα σε ιδεατες συνθηκες.
1) Αν εχεις πολλα και μικρα αρχεια, δεν θα ανεβαζει ταχυτητα διοτι δεν θα προλαβαινει λογω ογκου και αριθμου
2) Αν το βαλεις σε USB Hub μονο του, χωρις αλλες συσκευες στην ιδια διακλαδωση, σε μεγαλα αρχεια εχει πραγματι διαφορα, και μπορει να πιασει και μια καλη ταχυτητα, χωρις ομως ΚΑΤΙ το τρομερο. Αν το εχεις στην ιδια συστοιχια USB με πολλες συσκευες, μοιραζεται το bandwidth και πεφτει η ταχυτητα για την διαμεταγωγη. Επισης μπορει να μην υπαρχει επαρκης διανομη ρευματος για συσκευες στις ελευθερες θυρες. Just keep in mind!
3) Ειδα επισης διαφορες μικρες αναλογα με τους drivers για τις θυρες USB αναλογα με τον εκδοτη του chipset της μητρικης! Οι generic drivers μπορει πραγματι να παιζουν πιο safe και με βαση την συμβατοτητα!
