The white dry wine Chablis Chardonnay J. Moreau et Fils is produced in France from the Chardonnay grape variety. Alcoholic fermentation takes place under controlled conditions, using selected yeasts at 18–20 °C, followed by malolactic fermentation. It matures for 6 months in oak barrels on the lees, which are stirred regularly.
The limestone soil of the Chablis region is associated with the wine’s mineral character, while the cool climate contributes to its pronounced acidity. It pairs well with white meats and poultry, fish and seafood, pasta and pizza, cheeses and charcuterie, vegetables and legumes, and can also be served as an aperitif.
