Very intense aftertaste. The coffee is what I would call "smoky" in both aroma and taste. Recommended only for lovers of strong coffee from the first sip. Finally, I believe it is best consumed hot, as in a freddo the smokiness I mentioned strangely turns into a burnt flavor, so it's better to avoid it.

    I chose it to replace the Lavazza Qualita Rossa, for both freddo and hot coffee. At first, it disappointed me as it gave me an earthy taste, but I decided to give it more chances to observe it better. In the end, it has a coarser grind than the Lavazza Qualita Rossa and this is its main disadvantage for me and my De'Longhi Dedica machine; it leaves an "earthy" aftertaste and not cocoa and caramel as its description mentions. It is indeed stronger and perhaps for some people the extra caffeine might cause nervousness. I would not buy it again, not because it is a bad coffee, but simply because it does not suit me.
