But it will cook them well! If it's closed, then the time will decrease. Overall, though, a good choice!

Well, I have tried this specific toaster and I have been quite satisfied with it in the time that I have had it. In the tests that I conducted, I did not notice any different temperatures between the top and bottom plates as I read in some comments here. Overall, I consider it a relatively fast toaster in terms of reaching the temperatures and properly and uniformly toasting. I have the toaster for 3 years, at first I was very satisfied but over time I changed my mind. 1: The top plate burns less than the bottom, so I have to flip the toast to cook them on the other side.
2: The right side that opens and closes the top plate broke without falling or hitting or misuse.
3: The non-stick coating of the plates is not like it used to be, now they stick.
4: The top plate is very heavy, causing the toast to be pressed too much, which is bad because they get squished a lot and if you have put too many ingredients, they overflow. Conclusion, for the money they sell it, it is not worth it for any reason, one would expect at least the corresponding quality of materials, if it ever drops to €30 then get it, it will last for about 2 years.

You have to leave the toast for 20 minutes to cook, even if you have the heat on maximum.

4 stars because it has this annoying flaw where the top plate falls off and doesn't lock properly. It is very disappointing for a product of this value. (Maybe I will come up with a workaround to stabilize it in the future)

I bought it after a LOT of searching and finally I was justified!
I had a very old grill, bigger and heavier (14 years old).
Expensive, but we use it daily and constantly (4 people).
Attention, the plates are not the same for the top and bottom position.
I had mixed them up and my top plate was falling off, but once I switched their positions, it was fine.
I didn't have a problem with uneven cooking on the top and bottom plate that others mentioned.
I'm not saying it doesn't exist, it's just such a small difference that it doesn't bother me.
I will come back with more detailed impressions over time.

UPDATE: Eventually, both plates on the top part, when inserted, fall off after a while. Something doesn't hold well.

I got it amazing with some reservation because I read some reviews that say that the top plate doesn't burn as much as the bottom one. I didn't see anything like that. I would like to have more useful space for grilling, but it's okay. I put 4 sandwiches inside and THEN I turn on the switch. In 4 minutes the sandwiches are READY. - AMAZING????

I agree that the bottom plate is stronger. It also requires patience to cook meat and vegetables when open. However, when closed, it cooks them in less than half the time. I also tried cooking eggs, successfully, with the top plate closed (without pressing down, of course). For now, it seems to offer good value for money.

Simply good! It makes the toast incredibly crispy! The only downside is that the bottom plate cooks faster and you have to flip the toast. It takes too long to cook meat.

One disadvantage is the different intensity of grilling on the top and bottom plate, with the bottom plate being noticeably stronger. The bottom plate is stronger because it does not have a thermostat, only the top one does. This becomes apparent the first time you remove the plates to clean them. The future will show the quality of construction, which seems a bit "flimsy".

Otherwise, it has all the features you can ask for from a good toaster. Grilling at 180 degrees. Easy vertical storage. Plates that are both grooved and flat. Drip tray. It can be fixed and grilled as an oven, but not with a fragile (plastic) gear, but with a simple lever. It has a separate top-bottom heating element and an on-off button. Also, one of the most beautiful in its category, although fingerprints remain on its stainless steel surface.

Everything is perfect without any complaints here for about 7 months. I would give it 5 stars but the ONLY problem is that it has a relatively small cable for the plug. If it had a little more, around 30cm - 40cm, it would be PERFECT. And it forces me to use an additional cable on the counter to use it. Everything else... in one word, "PERFECT"!
