The 100 after 5 years suddenly started leaking oil (weeping) from its base (pressed seam not glued). It was supported by a metal base made of angle iron. I had to empty it - check with water but it didn't do it again. Caution.

Includes a hose, as stated, but also has a valve on the lid which was a pleasant surprise. So far, I am very satisfied. I hope it withstands the test of time!

Description & Specifications

Stainless steel container (The material used is stainless steel 18/10 - Aisi 304 (DIN 1.4301)) with a screw cap and galvanized tap, ideal for long-term and safe storage of olive oil.

It is also suitable for storing other liquid foods such as water, vinegar, wine, etc. It features a screw cap and handles. The containers bear the "glass-fork" symbol, which indicates their suitability for food storage. The stopper, which is equipped with a special food-grade silicone gasket, allows for easy and safe transport.

Instructions

Remove the safety cap with the help of a coin. Keep the small gasket, which will be used on the tap, and store the cap for future use. Then place the gasket at the base of the tap. Next, wrap Teflon tape around the area where the tap is screwed in (3-4 turns) to achieve sealing. Finally, fit the large gasket (flange) onto the screw cap of the container. Cleaning: Using lukewarm water, a soft sponge, and dishwashing liquid, wash the container inside and out. Then wipe with a soft cloth. Before use, it is recommended to perform a sealing test on the tap.
