Known for their rich vegetation and beautiful shores, the three islands of the Sporades offer visitors many surprises. Guided by the maps of "Anavasi", discover the magical atmosphere of the monasteries, the trails that lead to chapels and archaeological sites, the hidden valleys, and the secluded beaches.

The "Topo" series represents the latest step in the long evolution of "Anavasi's" cartographic work. The "Topo" series includes maps at scales of 1:100,000, 1:50,000, 1:25,000, and 1:10,000. The maps are produced using the Greek Geodetic Reference System (EGSA 87), the national geodetic system implemented to meet the needs of large land registration and mapping programs in the country.

Considering that the map is a tool upon which the user's safety sometimes depends, "Anavasi" strives to offer the best and most accurate cartographic material. Thus, all tasks (creation of the base layers, collection and plotting of field data, final map composition) are conducted with defined and strict quality and fidelity specifications, ensuring maximum possible accuracy for the specific scales.

In the "Topo" series of "Anavasi", two coordinate systems are displayed:

• The grid spacing every 1 km in the Greek Geodetic Reference System. It is a complete rectangular grid (orange lines). The projected coordinates of EGSA are expressed in meters.
• The crosses of geographical coordinates every 1 minute in WGS84. These are the intersection points of meridians-parallels of the global geodetic reference system that have been projected onto the map.

If you are using the map in conjunction with GPS, you can locate your position based on the coordinates provided by the GPS without changing any settings.
