Specifications
The Tascam iU2 external audio interface connects to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch 4G, as well as Windows and Macintosh computers via USB. The XLR inputs support phantom power for condenser microphones and also accept line-level signals, while a dedicated input allows you to connect a guitar directly. The A/D converter supports stereo recording with low noise and distortion.
The direct monitoring control routes the input signal to the headphone output with no latency. The device features MIDI input and output via the included cable, as well as a digital output for connecting to an external device with a corresponding digital input.
