Παίρνει τις μεγάλες μπαταρίες, τις 1,5 V. Χρειάζεται τέσσερις. Νομίζω ότι σπάνια βρίσκεις συσκευή για φόρτιση σε τέτοιες μπαταρίες (τουλάχιστον στην Ελλάδα). Συνήθως το χρησιμοποιώ με ρεύμα, αλλά μια χαρά λειτουργεί και με μπαταρίες!
