This book is a systematic interpretative processing of the literary works included in the school book "Texts of Modern Greek Literature".

Each text is approached and investigated on four levels:

• presentation of the author, with elements that illuminate their life journey and artistic personality
• general content analysis: the type, history, and thematic structure of the work are identified, and its centers and organization of meanings are analyzed
• aesthetic and technical observations: all the "external" elements that compose the "form" of the text (narration – language/style – expressive means) are identified and highlighted
• tasks and interdisciplinary activities: complete answers are provided so that the goal of a comprehensive and substantial consideration of the text is fulfilled.

The texts are enriched with functional information of a literary – social – historical nature, which helps to connect the work with the "literary phenomenon" (literary movements, etc.) and with the social environment.
