The base is useful, however the blade distance adjustment mechanism is very stiff in the two extreme positions and due to the smooth surface, many times you can't adjust it. It would be preferable if it had ridges

I had a big problem with shaving, not because of poor technique but because of the razor, and with a cheaper single blade razor I always ended up with blood and irritation afterwards, even when applying heat and everything recommended for softening pores. First shave today with this one, unbelievable, day and night difference. No irritation, no cuts. Solid construction.

After a few washes with hot water, the mechanism that raises or lowers the aggressiveness feels like a very tight screw, making it difficult to change the setting, especially when the razor is wet from shaving and you’re afraid your fingers will slip as you try to adjust it to the level you want and touch the blade and cut yourself. At first, its mechanism did not have this issue. You could adjust it easily.

Edit 11/7/26: For the past 1-2 months I returned it and got the king c Gillette for half the money. Far superior.

Quite good and easy to use, ideal for beginners, it adjusts the razor's edge from 1 to 6 which helps a lot, it doesn't have great precision but you can only achieve that with a straight razor

Very good build quality, comes in a case. I don't know what more other machines offer at a much higher three-digit price... There is an adjustable setting from 1 to 6 for a closer shave. From 1 to 3, even a beginner won't get cut. But from 4 onwards, it requires attention. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I have had it for almost 2 years since Starovas started uploading videos for traditional shaving during the quarantine and we had exhausted them all. Well, even though I had started with a Lord razor that I had butchered as a novice, I never had any particular issues with this one. It's durable, adjustable, and as you gain experience over time, you climb the ladder just fine with this razor. Very good, if it broke, I would go back to it even if it's a copy. Since I got it, all the others are finished. Deep shaving, nice without irritations, it doesn't get stuck anywhere! I have enjoyed it!

The machine is indeed remarkable, the comments and opinions I read are accurate, it is the best thing that has come into my hands so far. I have used Wilkinson, Feather, Nipavo, King Gillette, etc. It is by far the most high-quality, functional, and customizable machine I have used, it is worth its price and the last cent. I tried it with good known green razors as well as those of "okas" Wilkinson, bic, etc., with excellent results. Clearly, a good quality razor will save you time and possibly irritation because you will make fewer passes. The machine is customizable in terms of the aggressiveness of the blade in 12 levels (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, etc.), it does not clog, it is easy to clean, it is sturdy and well-balanced, while the finish and the material of construction exude quality of another category. It is a purchase that will satisfy even the most demanding and will make the ritual of shaving enjoyable.

Second time trying this type of shaving and I must say that it has won me over. The first time I tried a noname razor without adjustments and with poor quality blades, resulting in pieces coming off. With 8 days of beard growth, I started with the lowest setting and gradually increased to level 2, where I completed the shave. Although for some it may be a negative, personally I found it beneficial that it is more aggressive on one side for certain areas where I needed it without changing the setting. As a beginner, I highly recommend it for a proper shave with excellent results and no irritation. Out of excitement, I also bought the Feather razors, but after the advice of the saleswoman, I also got the green Astra blades as they are less aggressive, so as not to butcher myself, and I used them with the aforementioned results.

I received it today and I couldn't help but inaugurate it since I had a 7-day beard. My first experience with this shaving method, as I have been using the Philips One Blade Pro QP6510/20 for the past few years, and the only experience I had that was not the best was with the known disposable razors from BIC and Gillette.

I used the Feather New Hi-Stainless Platinum Coated razors based on the reviews here again. Comfortable shaving at level 6 without cuts or irritations, and it is also fast and incredibly satisfying. It truly leaves the skin incredibly smooth. I forgot to use Pre-Shaving Cream, which I think would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

As for the construction, it is sturdy, well-made, and I really wonder what more a similar one from another brand at 70-90 euros would have. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Value for money! Especially for someone who is a beginner and is looking for the style of the machine and the shaving depth they want, it is ideal!

Good machine, with its handle, heavy in the hand, does the job with its weight, requires no effort, very gentle on the face. With 5-4 passes, you can quickly achieve enjoyable results and look great. No irritations at all.
On the downside, the razor blade doesn't come out the same on both sides. On one side, it protrudes 1mm less. So, it shaves more aggressively on one side.

I have no experience with the original, but I found that with its settings, the problems I had with regular razors and safety razors with continuous irritations and cuts in specific areas disappeared.

Personally, at 3, it worked and behaved perfectly for everyday use!
Proper weight, good finish. My favorite blades are 7'o clock, parma sharp, and generally any that cut a little more but in good quality.

Flawless adjustable razor!!! It is a clone of the Merkur Futur. It has settings from 1 (mild) to 6 (aggressive). It is quite heavy, allowing it to glide smoothly on the skin without applying any pressure and causing irritations. Very nice appearance and excellent blade alignment! It is definitely worth it as a purchase!
