Description

The Glenfiddich IPA Experiment is the world's first Scottish single malt to complete its maturation in India Pale Ale (IPA) beer barrels. It is the first whisky in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series, a new series designed to create unusual and groundbreaking whiskies that express the brand's passion for pushing the traditional boundaries of Scottish whisky and collaborating with pioneers excelling in fields beyond the world of whisky. It was created by Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's Malt Master, in collaboration with a Speyside microbrewer, with whom they share the same passion for innovative flavors. They worked exceptionally well together to offer a new distinctive Scottish single malt whisky, colored with spicy citrus touches and lively hop notes, from the oak barrels that previously housed Speyside's vibrant IPA beer.
