Electric Water Heater

Operates with electric energy, where the resistance inside the water heater is heated, thus warming the water.

It connects to the water supply, and for every amount of hot water drawn for use, there is automatic replenishment with cold water.

Capacity

Based on its capacity in liters, it can meet all the needs of a family of 4 and the water heats up in about one hour.

Tank

The water storage tank features an internal enamel coating, which results from the application of enamel (glass) onto metal. This protects it from rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, thus ensuring always clean water.

Installation

The water heater can be installed horizontally on a wall. Horizontal installation provides easy maintenance, but care is needed when installing the base on the wall.

  • Internal tank made of steel sheet enamelled with titanium enamel baked at ~830°C according to the German standard DIN 4735
  • External casing made of electrostatically painted steel sheet
  • Polyurethane insulation with density >50kg/m3 without CFC
  • Cathodic protection with Magnesium anode (Periodic Replacement)
  • Electric resistance on a flange with a diameter of 120mm with eight (8) holes
  • Adjustable thermostat with double safety circuit
  • Temperature indicator instrument
  • Operation indicator light
  • Safety & Return Valve

Water Heater VS Electric Boiler

The water heater operates with electric energy, where the resistance inside the water heater is heated and thus the water is warmed.

On the other hand, the electric boiler, in addition to heating the water through electric energy, has an internal exchanger (coil) with the ability to connect to the central heating system, to assist in the production of hot water. This reduces the use of electric energy.

This means that once connected, the hot water produced by, for example, the oil boiler, heats not only the radiators but also the water in the water heater, thereby promoting cost savings during the winter months.

    I got confused thinking that the horizontal one is the one that rests on the floor, meaning it is a floor model. When I requested a return, the store came up with some ridiculous excuses like the foam being "damaged" in the packaging, something for which I was not responsible but the shipping company was. As a product, it seems to be of good quality. In 1 hour, it has heated up enough to allow a family of four to take a bath. It will show in the future how good it is.
