Description

If I had not seen with my own eyes, since I was a young child, the Cyclopean - Pelasgian walls of ancient Ambrakia, I would not have had the impetus to search later, after many years, for the prehistory of ancient Ambrakia.

The Paleolithic hunter who lived inside the cave, we are entitled to name him the Ellopa hunter, since he hunted in the area of ancient Ellopia.

However, since he brought the Pelasgians back to their original cradle, root, and starting point, in the "unknown" Epirus, this mark of his research is most welcome.

A remnant of the ancient Pelasgian language is the local dialect of the people of Arta, which leads us back to the Pelasgians. The Pelasgian language that became ruins and, unfortunately, found itself in other embraces at the turn of historical cycles.

Such a torrent, a crushed river was the Arachthos from ancient times, and only such a name suited it.
