Overall, I am satisfied with this television. It has a good menu speed and vibrant colors. However, the issue of Global Dimming, where it makes dark scenes even darker, overshadows all its good features. I contacted Samsung and after a remote check, they told me that it is an automatic function of the device which cannot be changed through any menu. Unfortunately, it is very annoying as it makes it difficult to distinguish the image in dark scenes and constantly gives the feeling that someone is adjusting the brightness.

I had a Samsung MU40 6172, whose screen was broken by my son (17 months old). It was excellent in all aspects. I bought this model and the observations compared to the previous one are that it does not play files (movies, series) with the .avi extension... unacceptable for me. Subtitles play normally after adjustment, not directly, but once you do it the first time, it's okay. It does not support smart remote control to control the decoder with just one remote control, something that the previous one did. Other than that, I did not find any other differences.

Absolutely satisfied with this purchase. Even years after buying it, it hasn't lost speed and its applications work flawlessly. Sometimes it disconnects from the internet, but I haven't pinpointed whether it's the TV or the router that's to blame.

    Positive:
+Deep black and good contrast with the VA panel that the 40-inch has (and not the gray of IPS panels)
+Realistic colors (initially requires some tweaking in the settings)
+Very good quality with Cosmote TV
    +Excellent picture in 4K/Netflix
    +Easy to handle
    +Instant connection with mobile
+Low input lag for gaming (XBOX One S)

    Negative:
-Relatively limited viewing angle, but not something tragic
-Mediocre sound (this applies to 99% of TVs, so I also bought an LG soundbar for 79 euros and the sound is now super)
-Mediocre media player (does not play all files)

For its price (350 euros), it is value for money and I recommend it for purchase.

It has a very good picture quality, really, if you want to get a 4K with this money, get this one and it's also Samsung for sure...the speakers are very loud, Netflix and YouTube work great, although it's also an internet issue for gaming, it has special functions like many Samsung TVs. Only the construction is a bit mediocre (I'm afraid of it when I plug in cables and USB because I have it on the wall), but you can see the glass from the side if you have it on the wall with a VESA mount and arm.
