It has careful packaging, is a quite sturdy charger with large dimensions, and can charge all sizes (AAA, AA, C, D, and flat 9V) of NiMH batteries. Its detachable power cable is 1.7m. AAA, AA, C, D batteries must be placed in pairs (in specific positions) for charging to begin. Flat 9V batteries can be placed one at a time or two together. In the tests I conducted, I found that it can charge different brands, capacities, and types of batteries simultaneously. It has two discrete green LED bars corresponding to its 2 charging channels. When the green LEDs light up, the batteries are charging, and when they turn off, the charging is complete. If they blink, it means that the batteries cannot be charged. The springs and contacts in the slots are very good.
I measured a maximum power consumption at AC230V of 5.7W, which is very close to the 6W stated by the manufacturer. In standby mode without batteries in the slots, its consumption is zero Watts. The output voltage of the charged batteries reaches up to 1.46V, which means that the Energizer Accu Recharge Universal charges the 1.2V rechargeable NiMH batteries more and much better than other similar chargers. Therefore, it is a fair choice for rechargeable batteries and undoubtedly the best charger in the entire Energizer Accu Recharge series.

Αν αναβοσβήνουν σημαίνει οτι οι μπαταρίες δεν μπορούν να φορτιστούν. Τα ελατήρια και οι επαφές στα slots είναι πολύ καλά.
Μέτρησα μέγιστη κατανάλωση ισχύος σε AC230V τα 5.7W που είναι πολυ κοντά στα 6W που δίνει ο κατασκευαστής. Σε stand by χωρίς μπαταρίες στα slots η κατανάλωση του είναι μηδέν Watt. Η τάση εξόδου των φορτισμένων μπαταριών φτάνει μέχρι τα 1.46V που σημαίνει οτι ο Energizer Accu Recharge Universal φορτίζει τις NiMH 1.2V επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες περισσότερο και πολύ καλύτερα απο άλλους αντίστοιχους φορτιστές. Είναι λοιπόν μια τίμια επιλογή για επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες και αναμφισβήτητα ο καλύτερος φορτιστής απο όλη τη σειρά Energizer Accu Recharge.
