The metal loop that the strap goes through should be positioned downwards and not horizontally in order to be functional... However, it is not the optimal fit (I have used the same strap on an Amazfit...). Summary: good build quality, good magnet, excellent for sports as it doesn't make you sweat, average fit for the GT2.

Very beautiful but not functional at all. On the Huawei watch GT2, it does not fit correctly and it sits on the edge of the watch, resulting in it not sitting well on the wrist.
