We have 12 of these at my workplace. We've had them since 2019. Overall, they are very good, but in one of them the "oven" broke down (as technical support said), maybe because of... a cockroach, since it's near plants. It was fixed and worked for quite a while, but now the fuser unit (I think that's what it's called) broke and a component like thick aluminum foil came off. It prints terribly and we took it out of service until it gets repaired.
They print on both sides, but by pulling the same sheet back in and not in one go, so the speed drops, which is otherwise very good. The drums are separate from the toners.
However, the toners are extremely expensive! 160+€ for 7500 pages and although there are options for 15000, 30000, and 50 something if I remember correctly, the cost per page doesn't differ much. Once the toners are empty, they lock, so there's no option for refilling then. But a colleague from another department noticed that if we remove the toner cartridge at the first warnings (before it locks), then it might be possible to refill it. I don't know the costs though.
It's good, but not for home use. High costs..
Edit 24/7/2025: 2 of them broke down with the error message 111.34A Service Printhead Error. A well-known IT company is contracted for their maintenance and they told us that others are getting this message too, but not very often. They took them to repair but couldn't find a solution (maybe Lexmark no longer supports them) and gave us others of similar capacity instead. So now things are difficult.
