Water Heater VS Electric Boiler

The water heater operates with electric energy, where the resistance inside the water heater is heated and thus the water is warmed.

On the other hand, the electric boiler, in addition to heating the water through electric energy, has an internal exchanger (coil) with the ability to connect to the central heating system, to assist in the production of hot water. This reduces the use of electric energy.

I chose it for continuous operation, it worked for 5 months and broke on me.
In the end, it leaks water from the resistor and probably burned the circuit board.
Tomorrow I will speak with AISTON to see what they will tell me, it should have a warranty.

I have had it since 2022, overall it is a mediocre water heater, it takes an hour and a half to go from cold to 70 degrees easily! If you want to take a quick shower, you have to wait 20 minutes and a little light turns on to indicate it's ready. I bought it for 150 euros at the time, for the money it was okay, but now that I see it for 200 euros, I wouldn't choose it.

It has not had any problems for about three years. It has low consumption, it just requires a little patience for the water to heat up. The water stays hot for a longer time thanks to better insulation. It is definitely worth the money. The only thing missing is the Wi-Fi connection for remote control. Maybe it exists in the newer models

The consumption, in my opinion, has been minimal in the 2.5 years that I have had it. As for the speed, from the moment you turn the knob, it quickly heats up. Forget about waiting for it to warm up, its philosophy is that you always have it on and access to the dial it has.

That's why the sellers say to keep it constantly on.
The thermostat will turn on and off all day and all night.
In contrast, an 80-liter, 4000-watt water heater
Takes about half an hour to three-quarters to heat the water.
And you can turn it off and take your shower in an hour.
It's all about good marketing.
All water heaters have a power of 4000 watts

Απ όσο καταλαβαίνω πρέπει να είναι μόνιμα ανοιχτός για να έχεις άμεσα νερό και να μη περιμένεις για ώρα να ζεσταθεί.. Ναι όμως τι γίνεται με τις καταναλώσεις στη περίπτωση αυτή; Είναι οικονομικός;

Εγω τον πηρα περιπου πριν 7 χρονια .Κανει 10% οικονομια αλλα πρεπει να ειναι συνεχεια ανοικτος. Αυτος ειναι ο τροπος λειτουργιας για οσους δεν το ξερουν. Με τον τροπο αυτο θα εχετε παντα ζεστο νερο ακομη και αν κανουν και 2 ατομα μπανιο στην σειρα. Ολα καλα μεχρι τα 5 χρονια μεχρι που αρχισε να χανει νερα απο την αντισταση και μου εκαψε τον θερμοστατη ο οποιος ειχε 35 ευρω και κατοπιν παραγγελιας απο ιταλια γιατι η Αριστον στην θεσσαλονικη δεν τον ειχε. επειδη εχω γνωση σαν υδραυλικος και ηλεκτρονικος κατηργησα τον ηλεκτρονικο θερμοστατη που ειχε και εβαλα εναν κλασικο θερμοστατη αποστασεως. Ολα καλα μεχρι τωρα που τελικα τρυπησε το θερμοσιφωνο και αρχισε να βγαζει νερο και απο τα αυτια. Σημερα ψαχνω για αλλο. πολυ καλη η τεχνολογια της Αριστον αλλα απο αντοχη μαπα.Αυτα.

Σχεδόν 2 ώρες έκανε την ημέρα που τον περασα μετά δε το έκλεισα καθόλου. Από τι μου είπαν από το κατάστημα πρέπει να το έχω συνέχεια ανοιχτό, το έχω στο eco στους 70 βαθμούς συνέχεια αναμμένο αν το κλείσω κρατάει νεράκι ζεστό για 2 ντουζάκια απόθεμα. Είμαστε οικογένεια 5 άτομα και είμαστε ευχαριστημένοι.
