Casa Vinicola Zonin's dry red Ripasso wine is produced in the Valpolicella region from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. During winemaking, the pomace left over from Amarone production is added, followed by extended maceration, which enriches the wine with sugar, glycerine, polyphenols and aroma.
It is aged for 12 months in old Slovenian barrels with a capacity of 3,000 litres, followed by a further 6 months in the bottle. It pairs well with red meat, pasta, pizza, cheeses and cured meats.
