This is an absolutely excellent product.

Although it is intended for brushless shaving cream, personally I use it for pre-shave facial preparation.
I wet my face with warm water to soften the tough hairs, then I take a small amount of cream with my finger and after spreading it in my palms for a while, I apply it in circular motions all over the area of my face that I am going to shave.
As the cream is absorbed by the skin, I lather the cream I am going to shave with using a brush and then apply it. The result, every time I tried the above process, left me completely satisfied.
After completing the shave, I had absolutely no irritation, and the feeling of the liquid solution that I apply after shaving is no longer painful but rather pleasant.

Good product, quite fluid so it spreads easily and rinses off as well.
It is more fluid than Nivea shaving creams, but not watery.
The razor (I use Merkur Progress) glides nicely and doesn't require more than 2 passes on 5-day-old facial hair. The cream rinses off easily from the razor and dissolves quickly with water.
The annoying thing is that after rinsing, it leaves a very greasy film on the skin/hands/razor which does protect the face, but is bothersome. It doesn't shine, but there is a feeling of "having eaten something greasy and just wiped my hands lightly". It's not pleasant but goes away with soap washing.
After rinsing the sink with hot water, it didn't leave any white marks.
