You constantly need to be careful about how you rotate the crank while rolling out the dough, which can be challenging. If there was a lock to hold the crank on the machine while you work with it, it would be perfect. It requires attention in maintenance, no washing with water, just wiping, possibly to prevent the internal parts from rusting, which will also make it difficult if the dough you make sticks.
