The Geko G01878 electronic welding helmet automatically darkens when its photosensors detect the arc light and returns to the light state after welding. The visor is made of polymer and has a viewing area of 92.5 × 42.5 mm. The shade level is adjustable from 9 to 13 DIN, and the photosensor sensitivity is also adjustable.

The helmet features an automatic on/off switch and two power sources: two external AAA batteries and a built-in solar-charging battery. It is suitable for MMA, MIG-MAG and semi-automatic TIG arc welding, as well as low-current TIG welding at 20 A.
