Professional Passive Direct Box

The Zdirect is a high-quality passive interface that allows you to connect musical instruments, line, or speaker level signals to a mixer or other device with balanced input via a high-performance audio isolation transformer.

The high-resistance single-ended 1/4" input is converted by the transformer into a low-resistance isolated balanced signal source.

The audio transformer of the Zdirect has an extremely linear frequency response and can handle high-level signals while maintaining a low-resistance isolated balanced output.

This gives the Zdirect a very clean and neutral sound during prolonged use in challenging environments with high noise and levels.

The Input Attenuator can be switched, allowing the Zdirect to handle a wide range of signals to be connected in our chain.

The Ground Lift switch allows you to completely isolate the grounds of the input and output signals whenever necessary, isolating two systems and minimizing hum and ground-loop noise.
